Introduction: I pride myself in providing thorough, clear and honest and unbiased inspections for my clients. (Also offering RADON and MOLD, LEAD and ASBESTOS testing see below for more info) I walk all roofs and crawl through attics and crawlspaces when possible. I provide a concise and easy to interpret computer generated report with pictures. I also offer prelisting inspections for sellers with the option of a less formal report and less costly report. Prelisting inspections save the seller money and makes the selling process easier. Informal "walk thru" inspections also a option at a reduced rate. I use technology such as drones, moisture meters, CO/natural gas detectors and Infrared cameras when needed. Also, now offering SEWER LINE camera inspections! This can help spot costly sewer issues such as broken lines, clogs and tree root damage. RADON TESTING is available as well. About 1/3rd or more of the homes I test in the collar counties end up over the 4.0 threshold. Test to keep you and your family safe from this gas that is the 2nd leading cause of Lung cancer. In many cases where its high the seller is resposible for mitagation costs. Now offering MOLD, LEAD and ASBESTOS TESTING! Matt did a fantastic job with our inspection. He was very thorough and detailed. He allowed us to shadow him the whole time and took his time to explain any questions that we had. Matt was absolutely awesome with regards to the home inspection. He was very thorough with the whole process and he was able to communicate any issues right away. Discounts available to local costumers (McHenry County)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to explain the process of the home inspection over the phone if possible. I encourage my cleint to be present during the duration of the inspection or at least meet for a overview at the end. If that's not possible I do take remote payments and we can talk on the phone once the inspection is over.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I "apprenticed" with a firefighter/inspector for a year prior to starting my own company. Prior to that I have worked in roofing and handyman jobs. In addition I grew up in a 100 year plus old home doing odd tasks that has familiarize me with the systems and needs of homes...especially older ones.
