Pastor Tom Pels was phenomenal! I am Catholic and my fiancé is not, and we had difficulty finding a Catholic priest willing to officiate our wedding since we chose not to be married in the Catholic Church. Finding Pastor Pels was truly a blessing, and we could not be more grateful. From our first few video calls, it was clear how thoughtful and genuine he is. He took the time to really get to know us, and we immediately felt a strong connection. The ceremony itself was beautiful and deeply personal, Pastor Tom perfectly tailored his words to reflect who we are as a couple. Several of our friends even asked afterward how long we had known him because it felt like he knew us so well. That speaks volumes about the care and intention he brings to each couple and how seamlessly he weaves their story into the ceremony. Highly recommend Father Tom Pels if you are in search for a wedding officiant! He was super nice and accommodating to what we were wanting out of our wedding ceremony. It will be an experience that we will cherish forever and our guests have also been raving about much they liked our officiant! He also took the time to speak with my family afterwards (bonus points that he was speaking Polish with them). Thank you again!!

Father Tom officiated our wedding in June in Evanston. He did a phenomenal job and the ceremony was beautiful. He incorporated what was important to us while making the ceremony meaningful and memorable with the perfect amount of humor. He was interactive with guests and everyone was very engaged and present throughout. We received a lot of compliments on the ceremony, some guests saying it was their favorite part of the wedding ! We are truly happy to have found Father Tom to officiate our wedding. I’m Catholic and my husband is not, and when we couldn’t find a church to accept us, he did with open arms. He provided a beautiful bilingual service with readings and incorporating lazo, arras, anillos, biblia y rosario, velas, and the opportunity to pray to la Virgin de Guadalupe. He was great with communication, guiding us, making us feel comfortable, and making our ceremony true to us. Mil gracias Father Tom.

Fr. Pels, was not only excellent and courteous, but he was definitely beyond kind and delicate to our specific need. As a same-sex couple, it was hard for us to find someone that would officiate our wedding, and I completely believe that Fr. Pels was sent to us by God. We couldn’t be happier with the event, and even though it was just the three of us, it made it means so much to the two of us that he was able to help us in our time of need. I would recommend him any day for any special location And any other location that would require his service. God bless you Fr. Pels.
