I have used cleaning services many times and wanted to share my experience with Luna Cleaning. The quoted service was $110 for 2–2.5 hours with two cleaners. Upon arrival, the owner informed me that her original partner was sick and brought her niece instead, without any prior notice. The speed explain quality of the work were noticeably reduced. I had discussed light organizing in advance; however, once the cleaning started, the owner stated that organizing would be charged at $60 per hour. Approximately one hour was spent folding around 30 pieces of clothing. Standard cleaning tasks were limited, and items such as boxes in the living room were not addressed at all. The total charge at the end was $180. I expected that unpacking the remaining boxes would cost an additional ~$180. Based on this experience, I found the communication, staffing transparency, and pricing structure to be unprofessional and not aligned with expectations. I would recommend confirming scope, staffing, and pricing very clearly in advance. To clarify, the staffing change was due to a birthday, not an illness. There was no call or text notifying me in advance; this was only mentioned when we were about to enter my apartment. As a result, the scope, quality, and speed of the work did not match what we had discussed or what I expected. During the cleaning, the cleaner stepped on my bedding and clean clothes multiple times, showing a lack of attention to detail. I had to intervene and remove my bedding from under her feet.

Upon arrival, I personally informed you of the emergency staffing change, and you agreed to proceed with the appointment. Additionally, organizing tasks are outside our standard cleaning scope. I explained the additional hourly rate for these services before starting, and you explicitly authorized us to continue with that work. You were present throughout the entire service and were aware of the tasks being performed; at any moment, you could have asked us to stop or change our methods. While we always strive to improve our communication, we stand by the manual labor and time our team invested in your home. We wish you the best."
