DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY PAUL EBEL.
AT FIRST HE PAINTS A PRETTY PICTURE, BUT ITS ALL FAKE!! HE DID THE MOST HORRIBLE JOB FOR US. WE HIRED HIM TO DO A SIMPLE LANDSCAPING JOB WHICH COSTED US A PRETTY PENNY.
HE GUARANTEED HIS WORK FOR ONE YEAR AND HERE WE ARE TWO WEEKS LATER AND MOST BUSHES AND PLANTS ARE DEAD!! DESPITE BEING WATERED TWICE A DAY!!
HE DOES NOT REUTN YOUR CALL AND WHEN HE DOES, HE BLAMES YOU FOR HIS LOUSY JOB BY STATING THAT WE DID NOT WATER OUR $2525 PRICED JOB & HANGS UP ON YOU!! WHY WOULD WE PAY FOR SOMETHING & THEN NOT CARE FOR IT??
HE'S VERY DISHONEST AFTER THE FACT. WE ARE OBVIOUSLY NOT GOING TO SEE HIS FACE AROUND OUR CORNER ANYTIME SOON NOR THE GUARANTEE HE SO PROMISES & PUTS IN WRITING, BUT I WILL MAKE SURE OUR SUB-DIVISION (WHICH HE OFTEN KNOCKS ON OUR DOORS) IS AWARE SO THAT THEY DON'T LOSE OUT ON PRECIOUS EARNED $$. WHICH FROM READING OTHER REVIEWS "NOW" (BAD ON OUR PART FOR NOT READING PRIOR TO HIRING THIS CLOWN), HE DOES NOT HAVE THE UPMOST REPUTATION.
WE WILL HAVE TO REPLACE OUR OWN "VERY DEAD" PLANTS AND BUSHES, BUT THAT'S OK. KARMA IS A SOB AND IM SURE IT WILL COME BACK TO BITE HIM IN THE A*!

I absolutely agree with all the other negative posts about conducting business with Paul Ebel and Chad's Landscaping. His work is subpar and he does not stand by his 'lifetime' warranty. I contacted him in May 2015 about repairing the crumbling steps on the patio, he promised to complete the repair in mid June 2015, and here it is October and not only has he failed to complete the work, he refuses to respond to any of my phone calls. I gave Paul and chance because he used the Lord's name...well shame on you Paul for using the Lord's name to gain business. I hope you remember all the customers you have ripped off when you are standing at the gates to heaven and the gates are locked. Shame on you Paul for taking advantage of the customers who trusted your use of the Lord's name.

The contractor ultimately made the full refund, albeit later than promised, but my dispute with him is over.

Paul did brick patio with 3 steps, the steps started falling off about two months after the job was complete, we call to have them repaired and Paul just keep putting us of and telling us we must have done something to them. Finally after about three weeks he came out to repair them. Now they are falling off again and I will not even call him to have him fix them again. Please stay away from him and his company. He will quote you a really good price but pay a little more and have it done right.

I could not agree more with the other reviews here. You absolutely do not want to hire Paul Ebel for anything. He is pushy, rude, and downright dishonest. He told us he could have our job complete by a certain date, but do to so needed a security deposit. When he missed that date and never called to schedule, I asked for our security deposit back, which he has not returned. I am now in the process of obtaining my money through the legal process.
Do yourself a favor and do not get involved with Paul Ebel or Chad Landscaping & Brick Paving.
