West Suburban was professional, timely, helpful with my insurance company, responsive and did quality work.
I needed to have someone come out right away after my toilet overflowed and leaked through the ceiling. I reached out to 3 professionals to inspect and quote the work. One company spent a minute looking at the damage and claimed I'd need mitigation and an entire bathroom rehab to repair the damage and another quoted the work over the phone and claimed they didn't need to see it on site before signing a contract.
Western was an entirely different experience. They showed up in time and spent a good chunk of time inspecting the damage and taking moisture readings. They're approach was reasonable looking to first do mitigation and then see if any rehab was needed. They worked directly with my insurance company and made the whole process as easy as possible.
When they arrived to complete mitigation, they were in time, friendly and respectful of my home. They communicated the damage and plan of action thoroughly and answered all of my questions.
Overall, they were a pleasure to work with, honest, and provided quality work. I highly recommend them.

Greg and his team at West Suburban Restoration are great! They were able to come out to my home the same day my sump pump failed. Greg was great at going through everything in detail and answered all of my questions. He and his team did quality work in drying and mitigating the effects of the flood in my basement.

Greg is very knowledgeable and punctual. He did a great job in explaining what caused my roof to leak (ice dam) and next steps. Cleaned up after some drywall work. I will definitely hire him for any future restorations.

Ice dams caused leaks in both my unit and my neighbors unit. We are both using them to remove the effected areas. They have documented everything and have been working with our insurance which is a relief. One less thing for us to worry about!

There are a multitude of factors that play into pricing which is why in-person thorough inspections with the use of moisture meters are important. Inspections are no charge.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical process is to 1st inspect the damages, determine source of damage and severity, and plan a scope of work. Many water and fire damage projects may be covered under your home insurance depending on situation. We discuss options and move forward based on what's best for our clients and their properties.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are an IICRC Certified Firm and EPA Lead Safe certified.
