My personal experience has been great so far. I am well on my way to achieving my fitness and post-retirement lifestyle goals with the help of my trainer. He pushes me forward in my workouts and offers positive encouragement during our periodic progress reviews. He is always on time and provides a full 60-minute workout, after which I am both physically exhausted and mentally refreshed. If something such as heavy traffic results in him being delayed, he sends text messages so that I can keep my other commitments moving forward. Very reliable, professional and knowledgeable trainer, and an important part of my weekly routine!

Simply fantastic. I cannot say enough great things about Chitown Trainer. I hired Konrad Koczwara of Chitown Trainer to be my personal trainer to help me get back into peak shape via strength training. I wanted to train in the mornings during the week at my gym and without hesitation, he's made it happen. I wanted a meal plan customized for me. He made that happen. I wanted to incorporate my girlfriend into workouts when she's available. He made that happen. Training prices are lower than the average and everything is completely customized to YOUR lifestyle. AWESOMENESS. If I could give 10 stars I would. I've been trying to lose weight for more then a year, but I was not having any success. So I decided to get a personal trainer, and I'm so glad I did. Shawn Smith is an awesome trainer and after each session I feel like I've accomplished something. He's great at motivating and keeping me accountable outside of our training sessions. Shawn is not just a trainer. Along with teaching how to safely and effectively workout, he is extremely knowledgeable about nutrition and the human body. Dan has been training me for the past 8 weeks and since we started working together, I've seen an incredible improvement in my strength, and my figure--this week I was able to fit back into my favorite pair of work pants that I haven't been able to fit in, in a year! When I first met with Dan I hadn't worked out in literally 2 years and was really nervous about all of it; however, Dan devoted an entire session to simply understanding me, the current state of my health, my habits, and helped me define where I wanted to be in my ideal future state. Dan then put together a customized program to ensure we could get there. As a woman, my one of my biggest concern was around "bulking up" from weight training as my body type lends itself to this if I'm not careful. I shared this with Dan and despite what I was sure would happen after the weight training, he's somehow made plan that made me smaller and noticeably toned up, and definitely not bulkier! In parallel, Dan has also really helped me with my poor eating habits--I'm a busy executive with little time to care or prepare food that is consistently healthy--and I sure do love Chicago cuisine. But every visit Dan would casually ask me what I planned to eat for the week and then give me directives on best options, grocery store lists, crackpot recipes, how to store my food, when to prepare it, and even where I can stop on the way home to get what I need for the next day :). . Dan has been a God send and reinvigorated my belief that I can take care of my health, actually meet my fitness goals, and truly enjoy it. I've absolutely loved, enjoyed, and seen results from every single session with Dan. I started training with Dan at HiFi Fitness for straightforward reasons. After 2 sedentary winters in Chicago, I had gained nearly 30 pounds while taking "time off the gym" to start my business. I was the heaviest I'd ever been and, even though I was an athlete by nature, I'd only dropped 10 pounds on my own and knew I needed help reaching my goals. That's when I started working with Dan. From the start, Dan emphasized that we were a team working toward my goals together and that the changes I wanted to see in my body required my commitment beyond the three hours we spent every week together. I like that he leverages technology to regularly measure daily progress. Every exercise is keyed in, and detailed notes for each movement goes into his iPad - and I can see my results behind a secure login website. We're only a few weeks into our regimen, but I already feel stronger, and my pants are starting to feel loose. Working with Dan is not just about making changes to your body though. It's also about learning the discipline of movement and having the mental focus to push past the limits you think you have. Dan is a meticulous technician when it comes to form. He isn't a trainer who will just show up and stand over you counting reps. Every movement is intentional and he'll make sure your form is right. He explains how those small tweaks make all the difference. He understands when to get in your face and when to take a softer approach, and he is as committed as I am in helping me reach my goals.

I was doing high intensity interval training, which caused serious injuries to my knee and shoulder, so I wanted to get back into full body resistance training and cardio. After reading reviews, I chose Dan. It has been a wonderful ride ever since. He's very smart, thoughtful, and incredibly enthusiastic. He spends a great deal of time tracking your numbers so that there is genuine accountability as to the extent of your progress. After I saw the orthopedist about my shoulder and went to physical therapy, Dan took the recommended physical therapy exercises and integrated them directly into my workouts. Very creative; very cool. He's easy to communicate by text or email, and incredibly responsive. He's also very knowledgeable about the Chicago performing arts scene, which I enjoy discussing with him. Bottom line: I'm getting stronger; feeling more fit and confident; and not getting injured. Dan's been great.

I was never sure that a personal trainer would be right for me. They can be intimidating and I wasn't crazy about intimidating gym equipment and costly gym memberships. But 360 Fit and Andrew have been a life changer for me!! Very very reasonably priced. And He knows the right dose of challenge based on individual fitness level and keeps it so I want to come back!! I look forward to my workouts!!! As a mom of an almost 3 year old and a 4 year old it had been years since I'd worked out and I wanted my health back but I just couldn't get motivated. After discussing my fitness goals, Elijah explained the general outlines of his plans and expectations. His style is simple and easy. I think most personal trainers are very knowledgable and very good at what they do. Elijah stood apart, however, from other trainers I have worked with in the past. He is particularly commendable because he is personable, genuine and fun. He also made it clear that I had to do my part as recommended by him, such as eating habits. He is also not afraid to talk about finances. I would recommend anybody to at least try a few sessions with him. You will know what I am talking about.

I enjoyed working with Chaun P. He was my personal trainer for about 3-4 months, with the goal of weight loss. The sessions included various creative exercises, thus did not get boring and not much equipment was required. He provided gentle motivation and guidance, which was perfect for me. Mike is fantastic. He's an excellent trainer—motivational, knowledgeable, and low key. I'm so happy I found him. I was ready to get fit but knew I was far too lazy to do it on my own. He pushes me, but never to the point of possible injury, which does happen with less experienced trainers. More importantly, he's a doctor. He knows how to get you in shape due not only to his fitness expertise, but to his medical training. He won't toss you into some gorilla workout in the first session. Instead, he assesses you physically in terms of posture, body fat percentage, and overall fitness and ability. And then you start from there. I've already lost some weight, (in a pretty short time) and my muscle tone has improved. In addition, as people always say (usually when you don't want to hear it!) exercise is great for you psychologically as well. I always feel good physically and mentally after a session with Mike. He's the best. And believe me, I've avoided exercise for years. Now I look forward to it. Thanks, Mike!

The very next day, over the consultation, we went over the scheduling details, payment and my goals. John was very nice as he answered all of my questions and told me what he could bring to the table as my trainer. We decided on a 3 month trial period since it was a good amount of time to see if this was a good fit for me. Aside from the reasonable pricing, the best part of MOR Athletic is that John comes to me for my sessions. After a long day at work, it's extremely convenient to be trained at home! I would recommend MOR Athletic to those who would like to be healthier at their own pace and for a good cost!

Destination Fitness is the best! This is by far the best money I have ever spent! I wasted so much money on health clubs that I never went to. I tried tapes and classes at various clubs and park districts. I never stuck to any plan until I tried Destination Fitness and Jill's team. Jill was so caring and listened to my story. She helped put together a plan and introduced me to her trainer Marty and her Registered Dietitian Melissa. For the first time everything clicked! They did not make me feel like I had to drop and give them 20 push ups. They created fun exercises for me to follow that I actually enjoyed! Melissa the RD was amazing. She listened to me as well and helped me create a menu plan that I could follow on my busy schedule. I have been running for the last 2 years for stress relief and when I finished my Ph.D I decided to look for a personal trainer to teach me new workouts. I met with Tim, and told him that I can't afford a lot of sessions and he did not make it any less difficult. In 5 30 min sessions with Tim I learned a ton of new, fun, and very difficult work outs! He made sure to ask me each time where I was sore, and adjusted my work out accordingly. He made sure I learned proper form for each new technique so that I would not hurt myself. Best of all he answered all my questions no matter how small and always made me feel comfortable to learn something new, even when I looked funny doing it. I have also seen major results in just a few sessions because he works you to your limit! Best decision I could make before moving away. If you want to begin a healthy life style he is a great place to start!

Tim not only is an excellent personal trainer he has a wealth of knowledge about exercise, food and health in general. Since joining the gym about 3 years ago, Paul is the 3rd and by far best personal trainer I've had. While I was initially skeptical about DJ Pauly D (due to being unhappy about unexpectedly losing my previous trainer), by the end of our first session Paul had won me over and I knew I was going to love working with him. Paul brings a wealth of knowledge, motivation and personality to each session. These past 2 months working with Paul has re-motivated me to focus on my fitness goals...and I'm starting to see results, which Paul has shown excitement and given praise for. The best way to describe Fit for All is FAMILY. I love the community approach to fitness- everyone (not just the trainers and staff) is SUPER encouraging. The trainers are personable and knowledgeable and classes are suitable for all fitness levels. I have a bum knee and they’ve been great with working with me so it can heal. Also, new programming each month prevents boredom.

I have been going to Surge for about a month now, and I am seeing some serious results! I feel healthier, stronger, and in great shape. Jackie is an amazing personal trainer, listens, and knows when to push. I honestly knew nothing about how to work out properly, and I was a bit intimidated before I went in for my first session. But Sergio and Jackie were so kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming that I felt comfortable right away! I look forward to my workouts, and the rates are really affordable! I cannot recommend this place enough.

Sergio is the BEST. I cannot emphasize that enough . He truly cares about your goals and success. He isn't like other trainers that do not value your time and are only worried about making money. The difference between Lindsay and other trainers is that Lindsay does not see you as a dollar sign. She views each of her clients as individuals that want to lead a healthy and active lifestyle, and she knows that she is the key to their success. She will go above and beyond any means to help you understand your body. However the guidance does not just stop at the gym. For example, Lindsay will go with you to the grocery store and show you what foods you should be buying to incorporate into your diet. She will personally check up on you throughout the day to make sure you are staying on track with your eating. With Lindsay you do not only get a trainer, you develop a friend. The best decision you can make for yourself is to hire Lindsay as your personal trainer. I know it was mine.

Lindsay is the best trainer around! She tailors workouts and routines based around your personal goals as well as where she thinks you need improvement.
