nothing to recommend but just to share my story. --- Fact evaluation: Progress tracked by Matt Johnson Trained by Marcin Grobelny (instagram- @grobelnym) Training Time - October 2016- June 2017 Training Intensity- three hour per week Aim- slim down, lose fat and lose weight. Life Outside Training (when I do not have session with trainer)- cardio (cardio), and 17 running races plus 1 bike event in 9 months (how I spent my lazy weekends). Life Outside Training (reality)- a Mon- Fri job that sit in front of the computer 9-6, sometimes weekday OT till late night, or might take my weekend too. Results- more toned up, people no longer say "it seems like you are a little bit less chubby" but "you look slimmer", ~5% fat ratio down. --- This week marks my last week with Chitown Trainer, it has been a very very great 9 month with Marcin that I did not only learn about workout move but also the psychological, health and nutrition, workout and recovery chapters that is totally a bonus to me. Marcin has been my very first friend in town and probably one that I meet most frequent out of all these time. I learnt about his education, and I believe his academic background and body building experience has made him a very unique trainer because he had been educating me in a all-rounded manner. As time goes, I started to learn more about my body and my mindset, as well as the key to stay consistent and balance through out my days. I eventually train harder and more frequent; and be more honest with myself about the diet and I have dropped my fat ratio through all the months. One thing that I did not expect to happen, is that I actually improved from 32min/5k to 27 min/5k in less than 4 months' time. I did not pick up any running training, I enjoy food fest in the new year, I had deep dish and (quite a lot of) cheat meal, but still, a 5 minute improvement in such a short distant run are actually all from the hard work from weight lifting with Marcin. I used to fear leg day as I started because lower body training back in middle school basketball time has bulk me up so much. However, now I start to love my leg days more -- and as a result I am getting a little big addictive with running as well, which I used to think it is super-very-extremely-so-boring. With the encouragement form Marcin, I actually run more than I thought I would. Counting back the weeks, I have nailed 18 city-events in 9 month's time. Given that Chicago is not my home city, this is definitely a life time PR. Meeting Marcin has definitely become a motion to get up early as we train at 0530 most of the time. As I am leaving Chicago, I would look forward to meet Marcin again with a more toned body to show off how I am able to apply things I learnt from him and all the hard work I put in even I am out of the country. --- Thank you Marcin!! :)

Before I met Konrad, I struggled mightily with trying to lose weight and improve my fitness. I tried different diets, none of them worked. Tried different one size fits all exercise programs, they were too difficult, and I ended up getting hurt. After meeting Konrad, however, all of that changed. The first thing I noticed was how important it was to him that I met my goals, and that he would do whatever he could to help. Right away, I was impressed that Konrad is in graduate school at Northwestern to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy, as well as his top line health and fitness certifications, so I knew he would be the perfect person to help me out. As my trainer, Konrad developed a diet plan for me that was easy to follow and focused on eating wholesome, nutritious foods. Protein and produce, less ingredients, less processed foods. Secondly, I was impressed at the breadth of knowledge Konrad had as he led me through different workouts. His workouts were designed to target specific muscle groups, in order to strengthen my whole body and improve my functional fitness. I could tell that he actually paid attention to my fitness level, as each subsequent workout continued to challenge me, ensuring my progress. His workouts are always different and exciting, and I left each session feeling like I had accomplished something. He was also very attentive and easy to talk to, he knows so much about how the body actually works! Any question I asked him, he provided an easy to understand answer, without getting too much into the science behind it-a true indicator that he knows his craft! Between the diet and the training I did with Konrad, I managed to lose 30 pounds in 6 months and I am now pain free! I would highly recommend Konrad and his team at Chitown Trainer for any health related needs. He's a true professional, and I would imagine there aren't many other places out there that do as good a job as Chitown Trainer.

JT is fantastic trainer, I am on my 3rd week of training with him and I am already noticing results. He has designed a completely tailored monthly workout and meal plan. A small background on myself, I am a 23 year old male, with years of physical training from playing hockey. Despite all the prior training, I was amazed at how many exercises, even a simple exercise of benching, that I was not using proper form. JT is extremely detailed oriented and gives you several tips and tricks to isolate specific muscles to maximize each exercise. In addition, he is very friendly and excited to work with you each session, which has really helped keep me motivated while working towards my goals. Dan has been training me for the past 8 weeks and since we started working together, I've seen an incredible improvement in my strength, and my figure--this week I was able to fit back into my favorite pair of work pants that I haven't been able to fit in, in a year! When I first met with Dan I hadn't worked out in literally 2 years and was really nervous about all of it; however, Dan devoted an entire session to simply understanding me, the current state of my health, my habits, and helped me define where I wanted to be in my ideal future state. Dan then put together a customized program to ensure we could get there. As a woman, my one of my biggest concern was around "bulking up" from weight training as my body type lends itself to this if I'm not careful. I shared this with Dan and despite what I was sure would happen after the weight training, he's somehow made plan that made me smaller and noticeably toned up, and definitely not bulkier! In parallel, Dan has also really helped me with my poor eating habits--I'm a busy executive with little time to care or prepare food that is consistently healthy--and I sure do love Chicago cuisine. But every visit Dan would casually ask me what I planned to eat for the week and then give me directives on best options, grocery store lists, crackpot recipes, how to store my food, when to prepare it, and even where I can stop on the way home to get what I need for the next day :). . I started training with Dan at HiFi Fitness for straightforward reasons. After 2 sedentary winters in Chicago, I had gained nearly 30 pounds while taking "time off the gym" to start my business. I was the heaviest I'd ever been and, even though I was an athlete by nature, I'd only dropped 10 pounds on my own and knew I needed help reaching my goals. That's when I started working with Dan. From the start, Dan emphasized that we were a team working toward my goals together and that the changes I wanted to see in my body required my commitment beyond the three hours we spent every week together. I like that he leverages technology to regularly measure daily progress. Every exercise is keyed in, and detailed notes for each movement goes into his iPad - and I can see my results behind a secure login website. We're only a few weeks into our regimen, but I already feel stronger, and my pants are starting to feel loose. Working with Dan is not just about making changes to your body though. It's also about learning the discipline of movement and having the mental focus to push past the limits you think you have. Dan is a meticulous technician when it comes to form. I was doing high intensity interval training, which caused serious injuries to my knee and shoulder, so I wanted to get back into full body resistance training and cardio. After reading reviews, I chose Dan. It has been a wonderful ride ever since. He's very smart, thoughtful, and incredibly enthusiastic. He spends a great deal of time tracking your numbers so that there is genuine accountability as to the extent of your progress. After I saw the orthopedist about my shoulder and went to physical therapy, Dan took the recommended physical therapy exercises and integrated them directly into my workouts. Very creative; very cool. He's easy to communicate by text or email, and incredibly responsive. He's also very knowledgeable about the Chicago performing arts scene, which I enjoy discussing with him. Bottom line: I'm getting stronger; feeling more fit and confident; and not getting injured. We have been training with Elijah - Physical Peak – for a little over a year now. My husband and I both have had great results. We love the ease and convince of having him train us in our home, without that we wouldn’t be making the life style changes we both have needed. He has helped coach us on nutrition changes also. Mike is fantastic. He's an excellent trainer—motivational, knowledgeable, and low key. I'm so happy I found him. I was ready to get fit but knew I was far too lazy to do it on my own. He pushes me, but never to the point of possible injury, which does happen with less experienced trainers. More importantly, he's a doctor. He knows how to get you in shape due not only to his fitness expertise, but to his medical training. He won't toss you into some gorilla workout in the first session. Instead, he assesses you physically in terms of posture, body fat percentage, and overall fitness and ability. And then you start from there. I've already lost some weight, (in a pretty short time) and my muscle tone has improved. Meeting Mike Rundell was the best thing that ever happened to me! He has changed my life in so many ways. He trained me for the better part of three years and in that time he focused on strength training and on nutrition...as many of you may know not a lot of trainers take the time because you are just $$$ but Dr. Mike sincerely cares that you achieve your goal. As a previous athlete in my high school years but pretty much left out physical activity the past 4 years, I first reached out to MORathletic in hopes of losing the weight I gained in college. Martize has been working with me one on one. I just couldn't get myself together and I needed accountability because I knew I wouldn't go to the gym if I was left to my own devices. When I get to the gym, I am in the mindset to work! He reminds me of the goals I set for myself. He says, "Change is made when you work through the burn." So, I started personal training with Paul, and it's now been around 2 weeks now. My commitment that has been made is to go 5 days a week to the gym on my own, and then the 6th day is personal training day for 6 months total. Paul delivers! With his various certifications, he is able to adequately taper a fitness program exactly to what I want and need (fat loss and strength in particular). I definitely feel like it is personalized to fit me perfectly. Throughout the week when I am not with him he also keeps you accountable with little messages to make sure everything is going alright. I was reccomended to Sergio about a year and a half ago and I have been training with him ever since.
