We wanted to turn an unused sitting room into a kid space. Rafael transformed the space by walling up one door and making another very large entry way into two normal sized pocket doors. The pocket doors were a little tricky because they were between an entry way with electrical wires and a fireplace.My house was built in 1879. It is covered with ornate wood crowned bullseyes and super high baseboards. I was worried that the new work would look out of place. He said he would find materials to fit the old look. And he did! The new doors blend perfectly with the old ones. All the wood was perfectly stained and the new baseboards were much nicer than the ones that other contractors with bigger more expensive firms have used. Five minutes after he left the whole space and three rooms that needed to be painted looked like they were born that way.The communication was stellar. The project took less time than expected. And when we had an issue with the thermostat in a new wall and he worked diligently until it was better than before.We've already spent more time in that room than in the previous 12 years. YAY.
