What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For a single family home, my fees starts at about $350, depending on square footage, age, and so on. My fee for condominiums starts at about $300. I will be happy to be more specific when I find out more about the property.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually make arrangements for an inspection with a new customer over the phone and through email. Some of my clients have bought property before and some have not. In either case, I am always happy to answer whatever questions arise.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed the home inspection training course required by the state of Illinois, and passed the state test. I continue to take continuing education classes and training as often as possible. I also read, week in and week out, industry publications, technical journals and books related to building and inspection.
