Voice Lessons
Introduction: I have had the privilege to teach voice and piano lessons for over 10 years, working with many wonderful students of all ages. Trained in musical theater and opera, with a Master of Music in Vocal Performance, I have gained the necessary skills to lead students to their potential as young musicians and artists.

I believe that the singing voice is the most personal of instruments, and must be treated with respect and great care. Every voice is unique and must be treated as such, taking care to understand the person behind the voice in order to develop the voice itself. In voice lessons, I focus first on breathing, music theory and essential singing techniques to give each student a solid foundation in order to excel. As a student moves forward, I focus on diction, tone, sight-singing, posture, expression, and stage presence.
[Combination of Voice and Piano Lessons]
Combined lessons allow for a deeper understanding of music, and more personal expressions. Depending on the student's interests, I craft each lesson to focus on healthy singing, sight reading, piano skills, and playing and singing together.
For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for music and teaching. There are few things I love more than seeing a student find confidence and freedom in his or her musical abilities.

Kelsey is an absolutely wonderful voice coach. I have worked with her both in company shows and for individual instruction. She is very patient and kind. But she also knows when to push you so that you are doing your best. She has a vast knowledge of all sorts of music including jazz, Broadway, and opera, and knows what will suit your voice. It's always great to see what she will suggest next. I highly recommend her for both young and not-so-young students.

Miss Kelsey has been an extraordiny vocal instructor she is extremely talented and working with her has taught me beyond what words can describe! I highly recommend her for vocal training for many different genres especially classical and broadway. She is also very supportive and encouraging just a great person over all!

I've been a student of Kelsey's for 6 years, and I can honestly say that she is the most hardworking, bubbly, and friendly person ever!!! She is so talented as an artist and is a great vocal teacher. I've grown so much as a singer, and my growth would not have been possible without her guidance.

Kelsey is an amazing teacher, the best I've had by far! She is so encouraging and supportive of her students. I have learned more from her than any other teacher. I've learned all my technique from her and would not be the level I am at today without her amazing coaching! Any student interested in singing or piano would be so lucky to have Kelsey as a teacher!
