The thought of speaking in public used to make my skin crawl. I used to look for the fire alarm to get out of it! But once Kent taught his Voice Crafter workshop at my work, that all changed. He taught us to get in touch with our body and breath before anything else, so we can overcome the nerves and anxiety. Then it’s about connecting to that audience with a story or something authentic to us. This helps break the ice and allows us to be our true selves and not something manufactured. I even use this technique at social events. Kent also uses his comedy background to make you feel comfortable and yourself. It takes time but it works!
