Introduction: Hello! I have years of experience playing with the best musicians Chicago and teaching students of all skill levels and ages. I have and continue to work and perform with artists such as Danny Boy (Tupac, Death Row Records), the Buddy Rich Big Band Machine, and work with some of the strongest musicians in the Chicago music scene with my band Lord Waffle. I also work in jobbing band capacities for some of the preeminent corporate bands in Chicago (wedding bands, corporate events, etc.). I have a Bachelor's in Jazz Studies from Elmhurst University where I studied with many of the greatest contemporary musicians of the region. I am proficient in and love to teach rock, metal, jazz, RnB, music theory, songwriting, and much more. I strive to put you at the center of your lessons and integrate foundational guitar and musical concepts while working on skills and music that inspires you to play. I am a life long learner of this instrument and love playing anything you would want to learn! Music is an enriching, beautiful thing that should bring you joy and fulfillment, so I make it a priority to keep things interesting, friendly, and fun while we strive for your goals. I love the challenge of meeting you where you are at and fitting a lesson to you as an individual! I have a home lesson studio equipped with amplifiers, phone chargers, coffee, and much more that fosters a relaxed environment to learn! My rate is $45 for a half hour and $65 for an hour. I can travel on a case by case basis for a small added fee or can do online zoom lessons for the same rate!
