The widespread application of Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy. I have been on home birthing teams twice. I've worked with child athletes, weekend warriors, runners, dancers and an Olympic Skater. I was an instructor for 5 years, wrote and researched articles about pain and myofascial trigger point therapy, I teach patients and clients everyday how to manage pain in their daily lives. I have a private practice while at the same time working in a cutting edge natural medicine clinic constantly being exposed the a wide variety of musculoskeletal pain patterns. I have mentored 20 plus therapists practicing myofasciat trigger point therapy today.
I have worked with chronic pain such as Fibromyalgia (over 5000 hours), migraine and tension headaches, TMJ Temporomandibular joint pain, frozen shoulder, sciatica and the list goes on.
The bottom line is this. There is always something new to learn and the biggest reward is the relationships I create with my patients and client that go on for years. I work with entire families from infants to grand parents. I have a great time working at a job I Love!
