Moving Day was founded in 2024 by two College of DuPage marketing students with a mission to save customers money during one of life’s most stressful events—moving. Having previously worked for the large moving company “Two Men and a Truck,” we quickly realized that customers were often overcharged, spending thousands just to move their belongings. Determined to offer a more affordable and efficient solution, we launched Moving Day to provide reliable, high-quality moving services at a fraction of the cost of big-name competitors.
In addition to our affordable moving services, we offer another unique solution during the winter months: driveway snow shoveling for just $20 per driveway in the Chicago area. Whether you’re moving or just need help with winter snow, we’re here to make your life easier with cost-effective, fast, and dependable service every step of the way. At Moving Day, we promise to always prioritize your budget and your peace of mind.

There are absolutely no hidden fees, Are estimates are usually exact with the homeowner being aware beforehand of the hourly charge if over time limit.
We offer discounts for veterans and senior citizens as well as people who are struggling financially.
