My experience with Greg was great!! I am a small business owner of less than a year. My bookkeeping skills weren't exactly up to standards of file and print. He was very helpful with helping me understand what I needed to make sure filing taxes was easier. He was very patient with me, considering the fact that I called and texted him with every question that came to mind. Since I work 6 days a week Greg was very accommodating by driving at least an hour away to help me prepare my paperwork to file my taxes. He gave me tons of information regarding future tax filings, great accounting tips and tips on how to make my business run smoother financially.

Tom has been handling all of our tax work since 1992, from monthly sales tax filings to a full scale IRS audit. He was with me while an IRS examiner spent two and a half days at our office, answering questions and providing backup material. All ended well as Tom said it would, because our returns were done properly, and all supporting documentation was available. We have been happy with the Hodge Group for over 20 years, and use them for everything for our bookkeeping, accounting, and tax prep. Two thumbs up!!!!

I came to MH Bookkeeping for not only this years taxes, which have a new business component and two partners taxes, but also 4 years of amendments needed to be done. I have been through so many locations trying to find someone who could do these for a reasonable price and who I could trust. I either didn't trust them, didn't like their work ethic, or they charged at a rate that would have not offset the cost of me doing it myself. Mark Has gone above and beyond in all these areas and I have already recommended his services to a couple of friends. I would gladly recommend him for anyone who values having a relationship with your accountant and who values being treated with the up-most respect. What is possibly the best part is Mark is proactively involved with all of his clients lives.

Lisa is quick to dig in and get things sorted out! Once things are sorted out, the day to day is more manageable. She is thorough, accurate and extremely detail-oriented. Lisa will tackle any task you give her, and when she is done with that she will find another way to save you money (sometimes A LOT). Lisa has successfully been doing our bookkeeping, P&L Statements, budgeting, and financial analysis for years. I would not trust anyone else with this very important work.

Chris was awesome. He prepared 4 tax returns (Form 1040) for me and my family. He gave us a great price. Chris was friendly and very efficient. I was able to meet with him within 48 hours after accepting his offer. He sent me an email confirming our conversation and included a list of things for me to bring to my appt. Our taxes were finished within 72 hours after dropping off our paperwork. They probably would have been done the next day but we had to verify some info and we were unable to get back to him right away.

Jean is a great accountant! I appreciate working with her because she is very responsive and spent time educating me as I am allergic to accounting details! She guided me through selecting and establishing my tax identity to help me maximize my tax savings. She also set up my books - I had QuickBooks on my desktop which I didn’t set up properly so I ran into tons of issues! She set me up online with the ability to enter expenses from my iPad and iPhone! I believe she has a sliding scale for services - from bookkeeping through tax preparation that she can walk through with yo. She can help you determine if you need to set up a payroll. My favorite part of working with Jean - she goes out of her way to get to know you, your situation and goals and even offers a consultation to discuss your needs ahead of time - either in person or by phone.
