Hired on Thumbtack
I was in contact with Brian from Cravings Hotdogs (he was always quick respond) about event details. I emailed him 10 days ago requesting an insurance certificate our venue required. He said no problem Tony would follow up with me. After several more emails and 10 days of no response I decided to call. I called and asked for Brian and the man who answered said he was no longer there. Then I asked to speak with Tony (who Brian said was sending the insurance). The man who answered the phone said Tony was on the phone and he would call me back in 10 minutes. I called back in an hour, and said look I need to know what's going on just ask Tony what's going on or see if our event is in the calendar. So after 29 minutes of being on hold I hung up and called back. Same guy answered. I said I was just on hold where's Tony? He said he didn't pick up? I'll get him. Then he gets' back on and says Tony isn't here. I felt like I was getting the run around. At the very least they aren’t organized and aware of their upcoming events. I will not be using them for our catering.
