Nick was an excellent addition to my children's birthday party. His designs were very exciting and held up very well. My son's special birthday hat lasted for weeks following the event. He included my grandmother with a special balloon corsage, and was entertaining to watch. Most importantly, he interacted with the kids very well, he was very professional, and blended into the party very seamlessly.
It was great working with Joe. He was always available by phone and email. He answered all the questions we had before booking him for our wedding. I was a little disappointed in the sound quality during our wedding ceremony. The microphone kept cutting in and out. We weren't video recording our ceremony, but if we were, I would've been very disappointed with the sound afterwards. He tried to fix the microphone during our ceremony, but the quality remained the same. Joe played some songs while our pianist and violinist were setting up inside to play during the cocktail hour. He played great music all night and even accommodated us for our last minute changes for the bridal party introductions for the reception. My fiance sent him the info the night before our wedding and he still made it happen. Overall we had a great experience with Joe and he really helped make our wedding day memorable. We also booked an open air photobooth with Joe and his helper, Alex(sp?) was a great help. He encouraged people to take pictures and went to ask Joe for help when there were any issues with the photo booth camera. Joe had sent examples for the photo booth strip designs and I wasn't a fan of the designs he sent. I looked up other ideas on the internet and sent him designs for what I liked. He was able to create something that looked great for the wedding. I didn't see the design before the wedding, I would've liked to, however my fiance and I waited until the last minute to take care of this because of other things we had deal with. Overall... A+!!! My wife and I recently hosted a casual party for 100 at our farm for my employees, customers, family, and friends. Donna was extremely friendly, attentive, and very professional. Her bartending skills are exceptional and creative - she even brought her own bar! Our friends commented on her creativity and were impressed that she went around and made sure that everyone had what they wanted. When she wasn't making drinks she was collecting empty glasses and plates from the tables. She determined what our needs were and she met us at Binny's to help select exactly what we needed before the party. Her energy level was as high after 8 hours as when she arrived. We would recommend her highly to help make any event successful!
I had an event in Gurnee, Il and I hired Special Occasion to help me plan and organize it. I was absolutely very happy with them. I hired Lindsey through thumbtack to do face painting at my son's 3rd birthday. After speaking with her, she ended up planning practically the entire party! Lindsey is extremely talented and creative. She went above and beyond to come up with an activity for the party, plan all of the decorations (including elaborate center pieces and sweet table) and put together all of the goodie bags. Lindsey and her sister practically ran the entire party including the craft all while doing the face painting (which was excellent!). I highly recommend Lindsey for both face painting and her party planning services. She did a fantastic job and I couldn't have pulled the day off without her!
Holly is a must hire for all of your decorating needs!! I threw a Murder Mystery Party at our local golf club, and she did an amazing job decorating this venue. Her attention to detail was outstanding, the guests commented on this as well! She communicated with me every step of the way and stayed on budget. She was so easy to work with and executed our vision flawlessly! I will hire Holly for all my parties!

We cannot say enough great things about Heidi and highly recommend her wedding services to any other couples! Heidi served as our wedding coordinator in September 2017 and she was worth her weight in gold so that we could have a relaxing and elegant wedding. Thanks to Heidi we were able to truly enjoy our time with all of our guests many of whom had traveled from Europe and across the US to be with us. On the day of the wedding Heidi did an incredible and efficient job running our early morning rehearsal which immediately put everyone participating in the ceremony at ease. She and her two assistants were then present at our venue throughout the day coordinating the vendors as they arrived, setting up decor, and bringing us our bouquets for photos. She even sent me a few photos of the cake and decor as sneak peeks as we were out and about all day with our wedding party. Once we arrived at the venue everything looked absolutely perfect and she even had water set up for the wedding party as we got ready to walk down the aisle (she also had water, snacks, pain killers and whatever else anyone needed!). During the evening wedding Heidi kept everything to schedule and moved the guests seamlessly throughout the venue from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to dinner to dancing. She worked closely with the photographer, caterer, and musicians to make sure everything went to plan. If anything went wrong during the day or evening we did not know about it! At the end of the wedding she and her two assistants packed up all our boxes of decor/cake/leftover alcohol and took it to our hotel so our family and friends were able to go back to their hotels or to the after party with no worries. In addition to the actual wedding day, Heidi was wonderful from day one. After we decided to work together we met with Heidi early in the summer and showed her around our venue. A couple of weeks before the wedding she also came to our final walkthrough with our caterer. We also had multiple check-in calls the week leading up to the wedding to go through final details. During the week before the wedding she was in touch with all of our vendors to introduce herself and to work out any details which took all vendor management out of our hands. In short, we had a very detailed schedule and notes of how we wanted our wedding to run and look and Heidi executed it with precision and even helped us think of details we might not have thought of ourselves. We had 60 guests and wanted a personal, professional, and elegant Chicago wedding. So many guests commented on how smoothly everything went during the day and how much they enjoyed the pace and look of the evening. We were a very happy bride and groom!
My family and I attended a Chai Lifeline Purim party on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, where Tamar from Tamariel paints was face painting the kids...as usual, Tamar did an amazing job, not only face painting, but making ALL my kids, special needs kids included, feel like a million bucks. She is wonderful, patient, and skilled. She gives each child her undivided attention. We have been to many functions where Tamar has worked, and my children look forward to getting face painted by her. It is the highlight of every party, and when Tamar is not there, they are very disappointed. I would recommend Tamar and Tamariel paints to anyone looking for a great face painting experience.
Aly helped me plan my wedding from beginning to end! She went with me to vendors and venues prior to the wedding, and was there the day of the wedding as well. On the day of the wedding, she helped coordinate hairstylists, accompanist for the ceremony, floral arrangements, food/snacks, and anything else the wedding party or I needed. Aly also collected the gifts and brought them to the hotel after the reception. The entire day went off without a hitch because she was there to handle every situation so that my husband and I enjoyed a stress-free wedding day! If you are considering hiring Aly., please do not hesitate! She is incredibly organized, timely, kind, and very detail-oriented. She will make your wedding day perfect!

I've worked with Frankies Restaurant on two occasions. One was a wedding and the other a party. Both events are ones we keep talking about. We had the chicken alloutte for the wedding and it was a hit. They served a type of rice called jollof which was the best thing ever. We had their kalua drink for beverage at the party and everyone loved. Honestly I can keep going on. I'm happy to see them on thumbtack. I would highly recommend them because they are very reasonable and provide quality food and service.

My daughter got married in 2015 and Annalisa was our go to gal..she helped us out with everything and listened to my daughter's ideas and made them happen. Phantom of the opera was her theme! Bella events helped answer questions and got the wedding venue to do what was expected and her day was special. She made the bride's/bridal party bouquets. Centerpieces and many extras added. Would highly recommend her again.
WONDERFUL! We hired J & A's Bounce Of Fun for my son's 2nd birthday party and the two bounce houses were such a hit! I thoroughly enjoyed being able to email and text with questions. Great Value and Trustwothy I was hesitant in the beginning coz of the money and my budget. Too many expenses.. From cake, DJ, floral, planners, favors, balloons, and all rental stuff. I just feel like my budget is too low, I'm glad I still give it a try and get multiple quotes to compare. I came across iMktg Events, their quote is somewhat high so I did ignore it at first coz I got 2 quotes already lower than her. But just instinct, I did open it just to read it through. I was so surprised that she pretty much quoted me for the prices for different vendors besides what service she provided. Please take note I did add on my inquiry my struggles with different vendor prices and coordination, I feel overwhelmed by too many.. iMktg Events does indeed offer everything. Anything you need in your party! floral, decorator, sweets, favors, invitations, rentals, DJ, balloons, vendor management, photo booth, and photography. Izza and her team are amazing. I saved at least 36% from all vendor quotes I got from the different company. Trust me that 36% is no joke. It's a lot of money plus I feel more relaxed thinking I don't have to communicate to any vendor and write multiple checks. As the day comes, my birthday and wedding, it was gorgeous!
