FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I never want anything about hiring me for a project to be complicated - especially pricing. There isn't a lot of price matching in my industry but I assure you that what I charge matches my background and skills. Everything I do is billed by the hour with the exception of the Staging Action Plan which is billed at a flat fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am a bit old fashioned and really enjoy meeting potential customers face to face and in their environment. I take lots of notes, lots of pictures and really listen. I pay attention to how the home makes me feel and how you live in your home. Your budget determines how much time we spend together. I hope to build a connection and convey that although staging is a tough process, I will always have your best interests in mind. Within 48-72 hours of our meeting, you will receive a proposal for approximate time, materials, and labor. Upon acceptance, we will schedule a time to begin your project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Many people think that continuing education is all about books and seminars. While that is true, I feel that the best way to keep my "tools" sharpened is to continually network (even with "competitors"), read trade magazines, watch industry related shows and practice in my own home. I have also been a featured home stager in 2014 & 2015 for Consumers Credit Union Home Staging Seminar Workshops!
