I found Chris' post through Craigslist and decided to try it out. I'm a student and drive from Naperville. I thought hey- 2x/wk for an hour is totally doable with my schedule. PLUS he was having a promo! When I met Chris he was totally laid back which I respond better too. I've never had a personal trainer before, but I really enjoyed my sessions with him!Mar 27, 2017
Chris was my personal trainer for 3mos. Due to leaving town, I had to forgo my sessions. Chris packed motivation, many years of experience and industry know how and a very caring attitude that tailored the perfect workout for me. I highly recommend Chris as a personal workout trainer.Mar 17, 2017
My Personal Trainer was Christopher. I am in Chicago for an assignment with work. I have never had a personal trainer before, figured it was something i didnt need. I then researched trainers and came across Chris page on Craigslist. I read his add and seen his transformation he made which inspired me to want someone like that who personally made that huge change of being obese to fit. I am average build and was looking to be more fit. Chris offered a complementary workout which immediately sold me. I purchased a 5 week session of 3 days a week which Chris was able to offer not only a physical change but also mental as well as offered dietary advise and consultation. I was so please with his services and his ability to connect with someone on a training level and also build a friendship at the same time that I recommended a co worker. My co worker joined and began to train with me during my time frame which made it even better. I wish I could find a trainer in my home state of NY, however that would be asking to clone someone because that level of commitment, honesty, motivation and share basic humanity comes very rare. I would by far recommend Chris. Highly. Thank you Chris for what you do and how you do it. Thanks Tyfone K. Reed-Morales.Mar 27, 2016
Chris is an amazing trainer. He patiently listens to all your concerns/problems and designs a workout program that suits you the best. Also, he has an interesting group where he posts about food and different diet options. I was very comfortable training with him and pushes you(in a good way) to achieve your goals.Aug 21, 2018Verified
Over the past 5 sessions, Chris has proven to be an excellent trainer. As a person that already has had some experience in the fitness world (albeit very limited), my goal was to have Chris provide me with some additional options related to exercises and approach. He has exceeded that expectation, pushing me hard and not letting me give up. This is exactly what I was looking for, and I'm pleased that we were able to work together effectively thus far.Mar 23, 2016Verified
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The process kind of varies. It all depends on the current level of the client that walks through the door. However, everyone gets their first session for free. During that session, we discuss your goals in further detail, we cover injury/medical history, and sports background, etc. We also go over weight, body fat%, muscle%, visceral fat, and your resting metabolism! From there, I create a short 20 minute workout based on the info the client gives me, followed by stretching/foam rolling. And lastly, we go over scheduling.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?International Sports Sciences Association (certified in personal training and nutrition) National academy of Sports Medicine Trx and kettle bell certified Kickboxing and boxing instructor Theres always something to learn.
