Programs: We would highly recommend James Ecklund for any program or freelance artwork needed for any style wedding or event. James not only designed and made our wedding ceremony programs, but also the thank you notes that were on each table. He was extremely helpful and easy to work with. For the programs, we initially gave him what our vision was and he put his own graphic spin on it to create something we could only have dreamed of. He was able to make any tweaks and changes we wanted and created a sample each time so we knew what the end product would look like. Each program card was something special that our guests could take home. The thank you cards were extremely professional and something that meant a lot to our guests. He was able to convey our thanks in a creative and unique way that our guests loved. As for the price, you wont beat it. He was extremely reasonable for the quality work that was done. A perfect 5 out of 5!!! Guest Book Tree: When planning our wedding, we wanted something special for our guest book; something that we could cherish for the rest of our lives. That is where James came in. As many other couples, we had the idea of a tree with everyone putting their thumbprints and names on as the leaves. James was able to take that idea and make it our own. The end result was a beautifully hand drawn tree with ample branches and space for our guests thumbprints. Our names were at the bottom of the tree in a font that we picked out and loved and the date of our wedding looked like it was carved right into the tree. He even came up with the idea of a swing for our thumbprints. The tree guest book fit our rustic style wedding perfectly and is something we will treasure forever. We could not have pictured it any other way. Thanks James! Once again, a perfect 5 out of 5!!

Jim Eckland did a fantastic job designing. He created a grafic for a 5k leukemia run I hosted for my sister. I couldn't tell you the hunders of people who came, all had compliments on the t-shirts. That was almost a year ago and till this day I still see people supporting the shirt. Outstanding work ethic! Keep it up

I take online web design courses and tutorials to keep up with the latest trends in web design.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been involved in fine arts until I learned about graphic design, which allowed me to use all of my skills combined into one, to communicate with people in a visual way.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Some of the most common jobs I do for clients are apparel designs for parties or events, packaging designs, identity work (logo, business card, letterhead, etc.), and advertisements and flyers, but I can do almost anything when it comes to graphic design.
