- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I never ask for money upfront unless the customer asks for me to supply materials. In this case, the customer would be provided with receipt for material costs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I work with new customers first by listening to the their needs and providing recommendations and suggestions. I inform all customers of the process that will be used to complete the project and estimated time of completion. On larger projects I may ask a customer for a contract as agreed upon for pricing and timelines, but smaller projects I rely on a good ol handshake agreement and will get verbal confirmation of a satisfactory completion before I leave.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am highly educated in aviation maintenance through the Military and commercial aviation companies. In home construction, I am mainly self taught relying on local code, building inspectors, other tradesman, construction companies to ensure my work is not only beautiful and functional, but meets all required quality codes.
