About
As the name suggests, my focus is on the small bites concept. I do not typically offer full entrees, but since I customize menus often, I am able to sometimes accommodate my clients' requests. I also offer Pasta Bar and Taco Bar options, as well as salads and mini desserts. This enables me to keep my menus fresh, be very open and flexible to my clients' ideas and needs, and give personalized service. We do not provide on-site omelette stations, carving stations, or grilling services. I am the sole chef and owner and do not employ additional chefs for those services. I am passionate about food and people. This business enables me to share my food with some wonderful clients, their families, and guests. Their feedback is always invaluable and I am always grateful for being welcomed into their homes and kitchens, and being a part of their special occasions.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Since I work primarily with small bites/appetizers, pricing is per person depending upon your needs and budget. I have a sample menu of popular choices, but I am very flexible with ideas and suggestions.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have been in the restaurant/hotel/hospitality industry for 30 years. In those years I worked both the front of the house and back of the house in all areas. I managed room service and a bar and grill in a hotel and managed several restaurants in those years. I was an owner/operator in a small catering company about 20 years ago and made the decision to strike out on my own again last year. I have worked with a few event planners/caterers in Chicago and suburbs and have catered events at Ignite, Prairie Productions, Loft on Lake, and Glessner House.
