Introduction: I have adopted a mind-body-spiritual focus while working on issues related to trauma, anxiety, depression and addictions. I try to get each client to strive for balance among all aspects of their daily lives while trying to heal themselves from within. Adults and adolescents with anxiety disorders and trauma histories resulting in addictive behaviors have been my primary focus. My goal is to assist clients in developing strong assertiveness skills through which self-empowerment and a sense of identity can emerge. I have my EMDR certification through the EMDR Institute, HMR (holographic memory resolution) certification and Reiki certification through Equilibrium Energy & Education. I utilize several therapeutic approaches to help heal trauma victims and those suffering with anxiety disorders of all types.

In 2010 the tragic loss of our daughter left us barely able to breath, let alone function & process the grief and trauma. We struggled to find hope and healing for both ourselves & our 13 yr old son. In my work with Debbie, what stands out most is the strength we built together to establish a trusting and safe therapeutic relationship. Debbie remained attuned, recognizing my needs, making adjustments where they were needed and challenging me in ways that facilitated growth. Her nurturing essence helped me work through memories, thoughts and emotions that kept me stuck. I felt assurance from her constant empathy and commitment throughout my therapeutic process. Deb has a unique approach to counseling that is supportive, intuitive, challenging and positive. She creates an encouraging, safe environment in which to explore places you probably don't want to go, but need to. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am an out of network therapist. So fees are collected at the time of service and the client is expected to send in the super bill for reimbursement, which will be mailed directly to them. I do offer a sliding scale occasionally based on financial need and availability on the few spots I have to offer such discounts. Reiki sessions can be submitted to insurance and have a lower fee schedule than talk therapy sessions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed a Masters And Doctoral degrees in clinical psychology. I have my certification in EMDR and HMR (trauma and anxiety therapies), I have completed training as a Master Reiki therapist (energy healing).
What types of customers have you worked with?
Ages 14 through 55/60.
