I have a network of musicians that I work with to provide the best quality of jazz/blues music at reasonable rates for you.
For example:
• If your guest list is between 15-75 people, my solo guitar or guitar with a bass player would be a good fit for the occasion.
• If your guest list is 75-150 people, I would recommend my trio comprised of guitar, sax and bass or my quartet with guitar, sax, bass and drums.
• For larger occasions where the guest list is 150+ then my quartet with guitar, sax, bass and drums is an excellent option for that “extra bit of punch”.
That said, my trio has played many events for the 150+ guest list too! — it all depends on your budget.
My brand of music is tasteful jazz/blues, including many of the songs from the “great American song book”. The style and sound of the music compliments any cocktail or dinner party, wedding reception, or special occasion where adding live musical entertainment is desired. We always play at the appropriate volume level for the room—never too loud—loud enough to be heard and enjoyed by your guests. There are no hard and fast rules about which musical option will work best for you, these recommendations are simply a guide to help you decide what appeals to you.
With this in mind my rates are:*
SOLO GUITAR — $100 Per hour.
DUO — guitar and bass: $400 for 2-3 hours of music.
TRIO — guitar, sax and bass: $600 for 2-3 hours of music.
QUARTET — guitar, sax, bass and drums: $800 for 2-3 hours of music.
