FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is decided by the length of the lesson. Generally 30 minute lessons are $30, and $50 for an hour. Music is generally $5 for an individual song and $10 for a book, and those I will let you know about upfront. They occur periodically throughout the lessons when we need new repertoire.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally take our first lesson with a new student and do some exercises and overview so I can determine skill level, where we need to start working, and what the student is looking to achieve. Then it's a determination of what length of lesson works best, and exercises and repertoire to start building towards your goal. I'm always excited to work with a new student and help them on their journey towards more skill, confidence and accomplishment in their instrument.
