About
SolidFix Handyman & Construction is a locally owned and operated business serving Oak Park and surrounding areas. I have 8+ years of hands-on experience in construction and residential remodeling, with a strong focus on quality workmanship, reliability, and honest communication. I’m genuinely passionate about building, fixing, and improving homes the right way. I take pride in clean work, attention to detail, and treating every home as if it were my own. Whether it’s a small repair or a larger remodel, my goal is always long-lasting results and satisfied customers. My services include TV and monitor mounting with in-wall wire concealment, drywall repair and patching, furniture assembly, door and cabinet repairs, weather stripping, basic electrical work (switches, fixtures, smoke detectors), smart home and security system installation, blinds and curtain installation, baby proofing, and general home maintenance. I also handle seasonal services like snow removal. I come fully equipped with professional-grade tools, ladders, power tools, mounting hardware, and safety equipment to complete jobs efficiently and correctly. I show up on time, work efficiently, and leave the workspace clean. If you’re looking for a skilled, dependable handyman who communicates clearly and stands behind his work, I’d be happy to help.

Lou mounted my 85inch tv perfect height and leveled. He also mounted my sound bar right under and fished all my wires behind the wall.
