Paul R. says, "We had Slava of Solid Cut Construction come out to our home to take care of a list of jobs we had been putting off. We weren’t sure at first, since we had never used this company before. To our surprise, their worker came out, we went over the items we needed done, and he assured us they were no issue and not as big of a deal as we first thought. We needed lights replaced at the front of our house, a leak under a sink fixed, our back gate repaired, and trim replaced around an exterior window where there had been a leak. He was quick to get to work installing the lighting we supplied and fixing the leak. He even adjusted our cabinet doors that were loose and a bit uneven while he was in the kitchen. He made it all look so easy, but I guarantee it’s not as easy as it looks. He replaced the trim and sealed up any areas where leaks were a potential issue. He’ll be back to paint the trim when weather permits, and we’re confident it will be above our expectations. I normally don’t do reviews, but he exceeded my expectations and was very personable—unlike our previous experiences with other small handyman and trades services. Thanks for all the good work, and for making us feel like you listened to us and did what we asked. We’ll be using them again in the future."See more

This was my second time using Fixer for an at home project. All in all I was satisfied though not as much as the first time. I hired Fixer to hang many wall decorations including shelves, mirror, and lots of framed prints. I hired two people to come as I thought some of the items may need 4 hands and figured they could tag team the rest of the items simultaneously. The gentlemen were very kind, checked in with me, and had a lot of patience with having to hang so many items. Where I was a bit disappointed was: leaving pencil marks on wall where frames were being held so if say a frame is not flush against wall, marking is visible. It was an expensive service to say the least as it was charged per person, which I understand, however, I would say the last 45-hour it really was only one of the gentlemen hanging as the other assisted. I do have a small space so that should be taken into consideration. I don't know, I suppose I envisioned two people tackling different areas at the same time. Also, some items had to be re-positioned due to leveling/spacing and so a few extra holes went in the wall. Not a huge deal as the pictures covered most of them but still worth noting. Both were super helpful in helping me figure out placement for shelves and were quick to find a solution to mount items on a concrete wall. Again, overall satisfied with the work, just didn't get that same "wow" feeling as after the first time having hired Fixer.
