Introduction: I studied Neuroscience in my undergrad life at Indiana University. I then studied at Boston University, obtaining my Masters's in Health Sciences. My passions about the human body have always been reflected in my life as I served as a dental assistant, pharmaceutical assistant, clinical informatics specialist, and currently as a certified personal trainer with the American Council of Exercise. Along with personal training, I am also pursuing a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology to become a Sports Psychologist. I am just as passionate about the mind and mental health as I am about the physical human body. My ultimate goal is to help people physically, but emotional and spiritual health is just as, if not more important. Because of my medical background, I specialize in handling various health conditions, whether chronic or injury and have had success with several of my clients' rehabilitation processes that have gone through different surgery types. Whether you are looking to lose weight, build muscle, tone, strengthen, recover or feel better about your body, I believe I can help you create a space for holistic health that is grounded in sports medicine research and allows you to change your perspective about turning fitness from a hobby to becoming a lifestyle.

I am currently 7/12 personal training sessions in with Phil. I am very happy with the results I’ve seen this far. These sessions have helped me feel stronger and more confident. It’s evident Phil loves what he does. Phil maintains an impressive balance of being supportive and challenging as well as empowering his clients while being approachable, down to earth, realistic , incredibly knowledgeable, and overall kind. He is very professional and flexible with my odd work schedule. I have been pleasantly surprised by how rewarding and positive my experience has been. I highly recommend!

Phil was really nice, made a great workout, had flexible scheduling! The gym he trains out of was great! It’s super new so it’s empty right now which is really nice! Great trainer, nice guy!

Philip is very professional, attentive and patient. He explains the exercises very well, why you’re doing them and what areas it will help target. I appreciate the fact that he conducts an assessment beforehand and asks what exercises you DON’T like or that are problematic (any injuries, etc) so that he can modify the exercises while continuing to help you reach your goals. His rates are reasonable and he also offers packages if you sign up for more that a few sessions. Overall, I would highly recommend Philip as a personal trainer.

    Pricing based on the needs of the client can be adjusted as fit.

    I like to get to know their client first. The initial meeting will usually consist of understanding the client's goals and expectations over a cup of tea or coffee at a public space.

    I have a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience. A master's degree in Health Science. Certification in Personal Training from ACE (American Council of Exercise)
