Introduction: I personalize my approach to the students I am working with. I do not have a 'one-size fits-all" style. This benefits the student because I take a session to get to know them and how they approach reading/writing; I learn their goals and what they think they struggle with. Then we work together to overcome the challenges. I love working with students; I tutored in the writing center at my university, and this experience is what prompted me to go into education. I love the process of 'making things click' for students, and helping student develop life-long strategies to use in reading and writing.
