Latest Review: I started training with Dan at HiFi Fitness for straightforward reasons. After 2 sedentary winters in Chicago, I had gained nearly 30 pounds while taking "time off the gym" to start my business. I was the heaviest I'd ever been and, even though I was an athlete by nature, I'd only dropped 10 pounds on my own and knew I needed help reaching my goals. That's when I started working with Dan. From the start, Dan emphasized that we were a team working toward my goals together and that the changes I wanted to see in my body required my commitment beyond the three hours we spent every week together. I like that he leverages technology to regularly measure daily progress. Every exercise is keyed in, and detailed notes for each movement goes into his iPad - and I can see my results behind a secure login website. We're only a few weeks into our regimen, but I already feel stronger, and my pants are starting to feel loose. Working with Dan is not just about making changes to your body though. It's also about learning the discipline of movement and having the mental focus to push past the limits you think you have. Dan is a meticulous technician when it comes to form. He isn't a trainer who will just show up and stand over you counting reps. Every movement is intentional and he'll make sure your form is right. He explains how those small tweaks make all the difference. He understands when to get in your face and when to take a softer approach, and he is as committed as I am in helping me reach my goals.

Latest Review: No matter what your fitness goals are, I highly suggest that you consider Ryan Dobbeck Training Systems to be the one to help you get there. He's helped me go beyond my limits and made me realize I was capable of more than what I was limiting myself to. I can now run 6 miles effortlessly, and I'm considering a triathlon for next summer! Thanks a lot.

Latest Review: When I met the owner, Rob.. I was welcomed into the facility with a fair wealth of knowledge, and clear explanation of the possible results his gym has to offer. His facility has a "one on one" feel and does not replicate the crowded conditions you find at large corporate fitness centers. Since several sessions, not only have I increased my capacity to do more difficult tasks, I've found myself returning to more physical upkeep at my home and motivated to do so. All in all, I believe the recipe of routines Rob presented, in short order have improved range of motion and flexibility which is where I was struggling. I'll be returning to Going for Greatness for what I feel was an exclusive opportunity.

Latest Review: I have had an amazing experience working with Roy. Since our first training session I could tell he was going to help me reach my specific goals; I wasn't just a generic PT client like you find at a lot of those big gyms, he really listened to what I wanted to achieve. Every time we work together I know I'm going to get a great workout and keep making progress toward my goals.

Latest Review: In February of 2014 Clint and I started working together so that I would be in shape for my daughter's wedding. The wedding was a year ago. We continue to work together and now I'll be participating in the 2015 Chicago Triathlon at the end of August. He constantly challenges me to get better. I would highly recommend him!

Latest Review: I went to John after a few injuries looking to get stronger in my 3 main lifts; squat, bench, deadlift. He put together a simple, yet challenging program to correct my imbalances, build my weaknesses, and reach my platform goals. I felt the program was personalized for me and my abilities to grow as an athlete. He is very knowledgeable and aware of the mechanics needed for each lift with a willingness to try new training techniques. He also keeps track of reps, calculates the weight on the bar correctly, and always catches the barbell when I fail. (Thank you)

Latest Review: I have had such a wonderful experience training with Unicus Fitness. I am an amateur aerialist and I came here after a shoulder injury to try to build my strength back up. (I couldn't even open a door with the injured arm for almost a month after the injury.) I knew that if I kept going on my own the way I was it was only a matter of time before I injured myself again so I went looking for a trainer. I originally picked the place because it was close to work and had good reviews, but Frank's depth of knowledge and experience is astounding. I have learned so much about how my body works, how to push myself without hurting myself and all sorts of exercises I never would have known about if I hadn't come here. He customized my workouts to my specific needs and now I'm back in the air, swinging around with confidence. The gym itself has plenty of space and more fitness equipment than I've seen in one place outside a commercial warehouse store. The workouts are a little different each time as well, you will definitely not be bored. I've recommended this place to several people, the things I have learned here have been invaluable to me, not only just for my general fitness and health but also for my quest to avoid more injury. If you choose Unicus, you will not be disappointed in the results, I highly recommend it.
