FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As a new freelancer, I am willing to negotiate pricing as I'm still finding my sweet spot and establishing my business. However, I am not willing to work for less than I believe my equipment and talent are worth.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I want to get to know my customer in an attempt to ensure they're comfortable with the services I provide and also that I'm able to deliver the product they're paying for. I communicate frequently and even ask them to conduct a little research and provide some examples via YouTube, Instagram, Vimeo, etc. that closely align with the look they're going for. I then try my best to mimic that art while still providing my own personal touch for a more personal experience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to college for Film & Video with focuses in Screenwriting and Directing, so while a minimal part of my knowledge is physically behind the camera, I have an eye for the kind of product I aim to deliver and with my background in Film & Video, I am vastly learning new ways to film, light, and produce the best product to customers.
