About
I have been doing woodwork and antique restoration for over 20 years for high end furniture stores in Chicago. Growing up, I was trained by my grandfather who was a master craftsmen and my father who is a wood carver, using old world and modern techniques. From hand carved distressed, modern furniture pieces, antique restoration and general carpentry we can do it all. My goal is to exceed my clients expectations. I believe in doing the job right the first time.

Mr. Nathan, was business like took his, time, very professional is so hard these days to find young people that are willing to work and to do a job with professionalism and with a polished look, I will use Nathan again and you will not be sorry in hiring him. He really loves his job because he works with wood anyway.

I have an antique vanity that has been in my family’s possession for many years. It was a little roughed up from a couple of moves but it is solid wood and has ornate details around the drawers and mirror. I contacted Nathan because of his great reviews. I couldn’t trust this piece with anyone who did not have a stellar reputation. Nathan is punctual and responds to messages in a very timely manner. He even checked in to give me updates on the process. This vanity and mirror went from rough-looking to absolutely chic. Nathan painted every nook and cranny and it is now a beautiful refreshed show piece. Nathan put a lacquer finish on the top to make it extra durable. The finish is silky smooth! The vanity looks both new and classic thanks to Nathan’s painting skills. I hope to do business with Nathan again. If you have a cherished piece of furniture you want to give new life to, I highly recommend calling Nathan.

Furniture refinishing. Nathan did a phenomenal job refreshing a used, weathered cherry headboard and footboard and made created matching rails and slats to complete the bed frame. His craftsmanship and passion for woodworking is evident in the finished product. Additionally we asked Nathan to make 2 Cornhole/Bags boards for our son-in-law. They are”top notch “. We will definitely be using Nathan again.
