Couldn't have asked for a better experience in getting tennis lessons in the Chicago area. Super reasonable prices, flexible scheduling, no upcharge for couples lessons. Always on time (or early, in fact), always high energy, always positive. Runs useful drills and provides useful feedback. My game has improved a ton after just a few lessons and am looking forward to working with Chris into the future.

I am a former ATP touring pro from Johannesburg, South Africa. I originally ranked number 1 in South Africa under 18s with four national junior titles. I played collegiate tennis in the USA, four-time All American honors and a holder of a national title. Recently, I was the winner of 3 Illinois State Open doubles championships and a winner of the Midwest open doubles championship. In the late '90s, I was ranked number 1 in Chicago, singles division. I have been coaching tennis for 25 years, from national-ranked kids to the beginner level, adults and kids. My main objective is to get players involved and participating in this great sport, learning the game, and most importantly, having fun. My teaching style is very different from the normal standard method of teaching that many pros teach in the United States. My teaching method is called the Actions Method, where the game of tennis is taught through four skills, which are as follows: * Perception (judging) * Decision (deciding) * Execution (hitting) * Feedback (recovery) This has been my teaching philosophy. I have had tremendous success with my students; they have improved and enjoyed the game better, so that's what I will go with. Have fun, and I hope to see you on the tennis court.
The lessons are very specific to the student as opposed to mindlessly feeding them balls for an hour and expect them to improve. With these lessons, the students will become confident of their skills because they will understand their unique qualities as players.
I'd say I stand out from other yoga teachers because I am very welcoming! We laugh in class, we smile. I talk about the postures and what they are doing for you and your body. I focus on alignment, calm, concentration and strength. My class is a strong class. I do not teach hot yoga, I do not teach yoga with weights. Just good-old Yoga!
Lessons I provide include: * Math * Reading * Writing * Sports * Acting I do my best to provide students the potential to do their best. It's my job and duty to help the students become better. I can travel to my clients for tutoring.
