👋 Hi, I’m Mariah — founder of Let’s Eat Mud. I’m a handywoman and general contractor serving the Champaign–Urbana area, with a background in full-scope builds, repairs, and systems work. I converted a school bus into a fully off-grid tiny home, handling every phase myself — demolition, subflooring, insulation, framing, cabinetry, plumbing, electrical (12V & 120V), solar, HVAC, and ongoing maintenance. That experience shaped how I approach client projects: practical, thoughtful, and built to last. I’m certified in automotive light repair, drywall, electrical, general construction, HVAC, painting, plumbing, welding, and refrigeration. I take on flooring installs (including click-lock LVP), carpentry, home repairs, custom builds, and small renovations. I also teach DIY and home repair classes, which means I communicate clearly, respect your space, and make sure you understand the work being done.
