At this point I do not know much, but our initial conversation for lessons was very good. They seem to be very flexible and understanding and have a great deal of experience with giving lessons in Ballroom Dance. I'm looking forward to our first lesson.
I've wanted to take ballroom lessons for a while and I'm glad Aleksander is my teacher. He's very patient and uplifting. I'm looking forward to more dance lessons with him.
Brittni is an exceptional dance instructor. She is great to work with. She took my non salsa dancing boyfriend and created a monster. He now has the confidence to dance anywhere we go. I knew the basics of salsa dancing and she helped me improve my moves. She has the patience to guide every step of the way. I highly recommend Brittni. We will definitely be calling on her again!
Kim was wonderful. Fun, professional and made it about us.
Great instructor, serious, motivating and fun. spacious clean studio, flexible schedule. I look forward to my lessons. I am happy with my decision and I highly recommend this studio.
Learned to dance Cajun style from Louie in late 1990's. Many people who like to Cajun dance learned from Louie. He is patient, fun, personable and able to break down steps easily. Great teacher. I've also seen him teach other styles of dancing with equal talent.
My husband and I have been taking ballroom dance lessons off and on for about 25 years. In that time, we’ve had many teachers. We’ve enjoyed something about all those experiences. But, Anna is the whole package! She’s a beautiful dancer, she’s an excellent teacher, she is patient, creative, and very professional. One of the things we really appreciate about her is how flexible and spontaneous she can be. Sometimes I come in with an idea of something I want to work on, without knowing the name of it or even being able to show her what it looks like. However she always knows what I’m talking about and will figure it out for me. And best of all-we always have a great time with her!
The instructors at BDC are the best around.
Sylvia has an excellent teaching and coaching style. She explains and demonstrates dance moves very clearly. She is very encouraging and is a pleasure to work with. The studio is bright, clean and inviting.
There are misconceptions that line dancing is all about cowboys and country and western. Yes, there is country and western but Rita Svane makes it look cool, and easy. Rita's style is encouraging and you feel she is talking just to you. Her teaching is excellent in its clarity; steps are taught in short blocks that are gradually put together to create the main frame of the dance, which makes it easier to learn from. I always enjoy the different sorts of music Rita chooses for the dances and her instruction moves are very well thought out. I believe she shows a true reflection of what line dancing is today.
Karen is a dance instructor specializing in preschool dance and also does yoga-based exercise called "Fusion by Karen". Preschool dance teaches techniques with emphasis on fun as well. For older dancers, having trouble in dance class? I will be happy to come to you and help with technique. Fusion my yoga based training is great if you want to get long and lean safely and offers special programs for those with special needs. No headstands or contraindicated positions. There is a lot of attention paid to each individual.
The dance courses are personalized to each client. No two clients get the same treatment.
I do modern, jazz, lyrical, and my favorite, ballet. I started dancing when I was 13 years old. When I'm done with the student, he or she will become a professional dancer.
I teach hip-hop dancing. I will help you loosen your body up. You will also be exercising and toning your body and become more flexible.
Movement is for everyone. If you've ever wanted to learn ballet and you are of any age, male or female, or perhaps you have a physical disability you feel keeps you from moving, let me help you dance. I've specialized in mixed abilities and have been dancing for 17 years and believe in a holistic approach to teaching movement.
I am well versed in many forms of dance from ballet to lyrical and can work with groups or on a one on one basis. I understand that every person is at a different level and should be treated as such. I try to be open to what my customer is looking for so I am very flexible with their needs. Dance is of course fun but first and foremost safety is key so that is where my professional training comes in use.
I meet my students/clients at the level they are at. I want to make sure they look good doing the movement and most importantly making sure they are comfortable with it. I will challenge my students/clients but I will not push them to do something they are not comfortable with.
We teach social, competitive, club, and wedding dances. We teach private lessons, and group lessons to singles and couples of all ages. We teach American and International styles of dance.
I provide private dance lessons in multiple genres, such as modern, ballet, tap, hip-hop and jazz. Sorry, but no ballroom dance lessons are offered.
I offer Argentine tango classes, from beginner to advanced students. I offer group lessons and performances for private parties. I have also worked as a choreographer and an assistant producer on a short film. I have a total of 12 years teaching Argentine tango in a studio and at two major universities in Chicago. I have adopted a teaching style that allows anyone the ability to learn how to dance.
I specialize several dances, and I would teach you at an affordable price. I also write music and consider myself as an artist.
