I can’t say enough good things about Katy... not only is she an amazing trainer, but she is an amazing person! When I started working with her I was at point when I was really down on myself mentally and physically. Katy is amazing & it has been an absolute pleasure working with her! She really listens to what your goals are so she can gain a clear understanding on how to approach both your nutrition and fitness regimen. She is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and even noticed certain things with my form while we working out that I was completely unaware of. She then used that to really individualize my workout routine to work on strengthening those certain areas, yet keep with my overall goals. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pricing is based on the frequency of training/nutrition coaching sessions. Discounts are available for purchasing additional sessions in advance, and for packaging services together. Health and Wellness coaching is a combination of personal training, nutrition coaching and goal setting. This is available as a package with special pricing. This approach is the most effective in reaching fitness and life goals. I teach you how to make a series of small, methodical changes that help you live your optimal life. Referrals are very much appreciated as well, and one time discounts are offered for each referral.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I meet with clients to determine their goals and make a training and/or nutrition plan based on their goals. I also do a postural and movement assessment to ensure that I can develop a plan that will address any possible postural distortions and correct them while we work towards reaching the client’s goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Nutrition Coach, and Fitness Nutrition Specialist. I am trained in assessing and releasing the Lymphatic system. Sometimes when people have been struggling to lose weight, one of the reasons may be that they have inflammation and the Lymphatic system is not properly working. I have been trained to assess and perform Lymphatic release where appropriate, and to teach my clients how to use this simple practice for optimal health. I’m CPR/AED Certified. And I am a competitive obstacle course athlete and runner.
