- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Smart Moving Solutions, we believe in transparent and straightforward pricing. There are no hidden fees, and all charges are explained before your move is scheduled. For local moves, we charge an hourly rate based on the size of the crew and truck required for your project. Our hourly rates include professional movers, moving blankets, dollies, basic furniture disassembly and reassembly, and standard moving equipment. Additional charges may apply for specialty packing materials such as moving boxes, mattress bags, TV boxes, custom crating, bubble wrap, and packing paper if requested. We have a 2-hour minimum for local moves and bill in 15-minute increments after the minimum. Travel time may apply depending on the locations involved. We accept cash, check, Zelle, and all major credit cards.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our goal is to make your move as simple and stress-free as possible. We begin by gathering information about your move, including locations, moving date, inventory, stairs, elevators, and any specialty items that require extra attention. Based on this information, we provide a detailed estimate and recommend the appropriate crew size and truck. Once your move is scheduled, our team arrives fully equipped with moving blankets, dollies, shrink wrap, and professional moving equipment to protect your furniture and home. We carefully load, transport, and unload your belongings while maintaining clear communication throughout the entire process. Whether you are moving a small apartment, a large home, an office, or need packing services, our experienced movers are committed to providing a smooth and efficient moving experience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our movers receive hands-on training in proper lifting techniques, furniture protection, packing methods, loading strategies, and customer service. Team members are trained to safely move heavy, fragile, and high-value items while minimizing the risk of damage to homes and belongings. With years of experience in residential and commercial moving, our crews understand how to handle challenging situations such as stairs, long carries, elevators, oversized furniture, and specialty items.
