- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is competitive, but depends on the type of work. For one time repair on Thumbtack it starts at $79 for simple repairs and more depending on the knowledge and experience required depending on what is needed. In the case of a law firm or healthcare provider it is might be higher due to the complexity of solution. I also provide flat monthly contracts for business maintenance. I provide 24/7 services available to contract clients as appropriate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Trust comes first, then an understanding that I can do the job. Initially I like a telephone conversation to make that connection. A visit to the client's location if it's a network or business might be next, then a proposal. In some cases a visit to my location might be appropriate. After that we work on getting the installation or service done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. I am a Microsoft Partner and have passed several certifications with CISCO in design and service (CCNA, CDA). I have installed over 200 networks and have been the head of technology for my own company and others for over 30 years. I am currently taking courses to obtain special security level certifications (CISSP and CEH).
