- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is rather straight forward, it's $79.00 hr. I do require a two hour minimum, but I only book one project per day so that there's no overbooking. I'll certainly provide you with an estimate once I've had an opportunity to assess the project first hand. Of course materials are added to the final bill, but I'll never add any additional fees for purchasing materials (e.g. mark ups from hardware stores, delivery/pick up fees, etc.) I am currently charging a one time $25.00 fuel charge for each service day. Again, this is just temporary until fuel costs stabalize. With remodeling projects, pricing is certainly submitted into a contract. Since I only book one client per day, I do charge $250.00 if your appointment is canceled within 48 hours of the booking start time. At the time of your booking, I'll request a credit card simply for that hold purpose.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually, there's a quick chat on the phone to discuss the project, coordinate schedules, and determine expectations. Once, we're scheduled, it's rather straight forward and simply a matter of knocking it out.
