FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work mostly in the commercial market, because I'm a sucker for residential. In my early years working for someone else I seen the amount of money charged versus what I was paid for the service and it always stuck with me. The majority of my cost will always be parts unless it's a long project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally I prefer to ask a plethora of questions before laying hands on anything. Seems to eliminate any revisits and wasted time. In rare cases I'll come out myself before a service if it's necessary for diagnostic purposes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The best kind. Hands on. Oh I have certifications from most manufacturers, but doing it Trump's reading it every time.
