Our technologies offer musical accompaniments, electronic delivery of assignments, electronic assessment of playing, video and audio-based learning, and one-on-one interactive lessons. Students can move forward at their own pace, viewing lessons over and over and asking questions of teachers at any time. We offer new technological innovations for learning an ancient craft: that of learning to play a musical instrument. Our teachers are professional musicians who enjoy sharing their craft with all ages of people. Our rates are standard private-lesson rates for these quality teachers. You can get half-hour or hour lessons. If you want online lessons, you’ll need a computer with microphone and webcam, high-speed internet, and a Skype account. Mpingo is the name of the East African Blackwood tree that is used to make some woodwind instruments, including the oboe and the clarinet.
