Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: All Things Canine is based out of my home which allows the dogs enrolled in my Board and Train Programs to learn to be good house dogs. They live in my home with me, my family and our pets. During the day we walk on a wooded trail, play in the fenced back yard, learn a variety of behaviors and go on field trips to dog-friendly parks and businesses. I teach dogs to enjoy and engage in their training. I have 40-plus years of experience training in a variety of fields including AKC Obedience, Search and Rescue, Service Dogs and Therapy Dogs. All of my training programs can be individualized to fit your needs. You choose what your dog learns. My goal is to help you enjoy your dog and sharing your life with him.

With a 1 year old puppy we were overwhelmed with trying to get a good foundation so she would be an obedient as an adult dog. We took a puppy basics class, but found it was too much info with not enough one on one with our family and puppy. Cherri had Apple Pie for 4 weeks and we met with her 2x/week for 3 weeks. This was the key to our success. All four of us (me, my husband, 10 and 12 yo kids) took turns training with her and learning the "rules". We were one on one and each got the attention of Cherri to be sure we were executing the skills correctly. We now have a great foundation that we are confident we can maintain, especially with all of us doing things the same way. It has been a great experience, and it is comforting to know I have someone I can call and ask if I have questions about how to handle something with Apple Pie. Her answers will be specific to Apple Pie, not generalizations about other dogs.

I have a 4 year old Australian husky blue heeler mix. He is such a loving dog to his immediate family, but very protective when someone visits to the point people are scared of him. I had always wanted to put him in some type of training. We are in the process of selling our house and we knew with all the up coming transitions it was a must to train our dog Whiskey. Especially, after he bit someone. I never thought I would be able to even drop him off with her, but we did and he didn't bite her. She was in control. This was the best choice we made. He needed to be taught how to respect commands and be out in social situations. I'm so impressed that he can go on trips now! Cherri is a wonderful person who has a love and appreciation for dogs as well as the ability to train them. What she has done for our whiskey is priceless! I am afraid what would have happened to him in the future if we didn't take these immediate steps. Now, he has reached new levels and I am so proud of him.

I hired Cherri because I have an alpha dog who has had a few run ins with some new dogs. My fears I let overwhelm me and I knew I was affecting his behavior. Cherri helped me to overcome my fears and let dogs be dogs. She helped me with learn dog language better. Cherri was on time. The first introduction meeting was approx. 1 hour. The second meeting with the dog in family we spent approx. 2 hours together. I am very impressed of her understanding of my fears and the help she gave me to overcome them.
