Jeff was very quick to respond. Even though he was very busy he made time to come and finish the job I needed done urgently. His work is top notch and would highly recommend him. I will be using his services again!
Gary was extremely flexible with my schedule. He was willing to work whenever I was available and showed up promptly. He finished the drywall very nicely in my kitchen.
Jon was incredible. He took great pride in his work and sought perfection. It took longer than originally planned. But, a few more days were well worth the incredible results, especially when we consider the added hours he did to overcome the damage done to out kitchen cabinets from over 40 years of cooking and having been scrubbed with various cleaners. Jon did much of the work himself and worked late into the evening to finish up. On the last day he was assisted by Casey. In just a few days, I have already recommended him to neighbors.
Difficult to give a very positive nor a very negative review of James' work. He repaired my 2-storey chimney with stucco, by installing a wire mesh around the existing (bad) brick and applying stucco around the entire chimney. James promised to have a smooth finish, nice looking, non-leaking chimney when all was done. At time of this writing, my chimney's finish is not smooth, and it looks OK. Whether or not it leaks we will see, but it appears to be well sealed. A few details: 1. The project was started more or less on time, but the project took 3-4 weeks longer - and - quality was below what he'd promised. 2. In general, James was responsive via text, pleasant to work with, and my expectations of the quality of his work were high based on our communication. However, he seemed to promise dates/quality that ultimately were not delivered. Perhaps he could scale down on the promised delivery so as to manage customer expectations as well as provide a realistic picture of the finished product. 3. I was not satisfied with the quality of the 'finished' product and communicated this to James. Post-payment, James honored one of his promises to come back out to try to 'fix' any issues outstanding. At time of this writing, there is still one outstanding 'offer' from James to come back and finish smoothing out the surface, but I have not heard from him in weeks. This makes it difficult to trust that the company will stand by the 7-year labor warranty that is in the contract.
Dan did a fine job chalk painting and distressing a large pine dresser in our master bedroom that had been stained "red maple"; a piece large enough that I did not want to tackle it myself. He put a lot of work into it and the finish feels like satin. I have been doing a fair amount of chalk painting myself lately and, although I use a paint that requires little or no prep (Annie Sloan), the work Dan did has a much nicer finish than my DIY pieces.
Morales responded to my call very quickly. They came out and gave me an estimate. The price was fair so I signed the contract and the work began. They were professional and finished the roof in one day. I am very pleased with them.
The entire experience from start to finish was very painless. I would highly recommend to anyone.
Michael Day showed up on time and estimated the labor to install my ceramic tile in kitchen, bath and foyer. His price was competitive, and he started and finished the work in a few days, as promised. His workmanship was excellent. I highly recommend Michael Day to any landlord or investor like myself, or any homeowner in need of a tile layer.
The work he did was excellent! I think there was a communication error between Mike and me. (Major understatement!) He hasn't responded to me reaching out to him over text. Unfortunately, he left the job about 1/3 of the way done. Mike covered the floors when he painted and cleaned up very well after he was done. I would recommend him to anyone needing paint. Just make sure you both are on the same page. He and his helper had a really tough time with the specific color of the cheap-o paint from Lowe's. Given the bad paint, he made it look extraordinary! I think he used the cheapest paint he could get because he included the paint cost in his quote to paint our whole house. I was under the impression that I was paying for the paint in addition to labor and drywall. He ran into a problem called "hat banding" where the parts that were painted with a brush look completely different than the parts painted with a roller. After trying everything to fix the problem (YES! Including not letting the brushed paint dry before painting with the roller) and spending over 2 weeks on just the basement, it was obvious that the problem was the paint. We have a 3 story house and he quoted to paint the whole thing. Since I thought we were paying for the paint, I asked him to get a better quality paint for the rest of the house so he wouldn't have the same problems and he could finish faster. He got quite angry. Looking back, it makes since because he thought he had to bare the extra expense. It was the next day that he sent me a very professional text saying he quit. I would include his text but I had to reset my phone and deleted it. I wish we would been on the same page about the paint cost. He would have finished the house so much faster. The painters we ended up hiring weren't nearly as good as Mike and took forever to finish. They got paint splatters everywhere and blamed it on Mike. Like I said Mike was in the basement and these other guys painted the other 2 levels. The paint splatters weren't in the basement, they were on the other 2 levels. Thanks for the work you did, Mike. I wish it would have turned out different. I wish you all the best.
I'm a real estate professional that uses Precision Trim and Carpentry for the majority of my work. Justin, the owner, always answers my texts and calls quickly. He's a great price and the work gets done professionally and quickly. Precision Trim and Carpentry honors their quotes, has excellent workmanship, and I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anyone.
Our roof rafters were installed without proper bracing, so the roof had begun to sag. Stacey put in knee wall supports under both inclines. He was knowledgeable, courteous, efficient and cleaned up when finished.
We had chased a leak on the back of our home since 1996 and 2 roofing jobs, Kingsman came in on the 13th of March and after only two days finished redoing our flat roof. Now even with the downpours yesterday and today the house is dry. Many thanks if we need something else Kingsman will be our first call. David M
Mr. Stillman did an excellent job installing a hammock chair in my home. He communicated very well and often. He finished the job quickly and professionally. I highly recommend Mr. Stillman for anything you need. -Ashley Taylor(Indianapolis)
Kyle made a cabinet top, installed doors and shelf. He advised on refinishing cabinet and demonstrated best technique to ensure the best results. His work is exceptional and it looks amazing. Turnaround time was great. No hidden costs, true to his estimate and went the extra mile to ensure I was happy with the finished product. I would highly recommend him for any carpentry needs. I will definitely request his expertise for any future needs.
Shane did an awesome job on my bathroom remodel! He listened to exactly what I wanted & totally exceeded my expectations. Shane understood the limited budget I was working with and made it work as best he could. He completely worked with my schedule and was able to complete the project in a very timely manner. I would recommend Shane & Total Home Solutions to anyone needing a renovation, big or small! Shane's hard work and expertise allowed me to relax knowing that the finished product would be perfect, & it was!
There is no better trim carpenter and craftsman than Kevin. His attention to detail, respect for your home and creativity enable him to deliver tremendous results.
Well I am a little biased because Todd Lewis is my brother. However, we've done a lot of projects (on my houses) over the years and I can tell you he is a perfectionist and extremely good at what he does . . . and that is a little bit of everything! He's done everything from roofing to kitchen cabinet renovation to the latest one, a complete gut job and rebuild. My wife and I recently decided to downsize, so we bought a 700 sqft . . . uhhh . . . fixer-upper. If you can call it that. It was a commercial property and we basically gutted the building and rebuilt the inside to make a one bedroom house. Todd was instrumental in just about everything we did from demo to design to interior & exterior finishes. I could go on about what he did on this project, but it wouldn't do it justice. So I will post as many pics as I can.
I needed a ramp built within two weeks so my husband could come home from rehab. They worked me in and finished before my deadline. It's very sturdy and looks beautiful. Everyone on the job was very talented and personable, too.
Max did an excellent job at a very fair rate. He was right in the middle of the quotes I received, but offered peace of mind with explaining what his thoughts were and how he would complete the project of building my deck. He finished the deck in 2 days time as promised and was very easy to work with. I highly recommend Max.
