Neil has been a tremendous asset to our wellness and well-being. He is an expert yoga instructor and integrates the physical needs (and limitations) of our bodies into each practice. He is thoughtful with his instruction and guidance during the practice and respectful of the individuals' abilities.Jul 31, 2018
Neil has been teaching onsite yoga at my workplace for nearly 2 years. He leads classes in a way that is both accommodating to beginners and challenging to the more experienced participants. Participation in the class has increased over time as word of mouth travels around the office about what an incredible instructor Neil is. He is a terrific fit for our culture and brings such positive energy to our team. Starting the day with Neil’s yoga class is a wonderful way to bring focus and intention to the workday. If you are looking to try yoga I would absolutely recommend Neil as an instructor!Jan 10, 2017
Neil has been bringing yoga to our office for over a year now, and always approaches our practice thoughtfully and intentionally. One of our favorite aspects of Neil's practice is that he brings a mantra for us to ruminate on. It tends to be different every week and is usually inspired by personal events in his life, which helps us feel connected to him as a practice leader. And beyond the practice, he has made an effort to get to know us individually, too. Overall, it's been a joy having him as our instructor for the past year and a half.Jan 25, 2017
My company has been working with Neil for the last three months or so. It's been a great experience watching the culture of our organization slowly change to adapting a more healthy lifestyle. We started out with a four week "intro to yoga" class which was very basic. We have since almost completed an 8 week course and just signed up for another 8 week one this week. Neil does a nice job of slowly advancing each class to make it a little more challenging. He is also a super nice guy and genuinely cares about each and every participant in the class. He always gives individual attention when it comes to modifying moves and working around any injuries a participant may have. I would highly recommend him if you are thinking of implementing a yoga practice at your place of employment.Oct 2, 2014
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? To be discussed with individual or group directly. NOTE - fees are for UNLIMITED number of participants. Fees are based on a 6 or 12-month contract.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? It varies - whether it's one-on-one with a private individual - or an onsite group setting within an office or similar setting. Initially I'd like to make a face-to-face connection to gauge energy, receptivity, and chemistry. I like to understand individual's and group's motivations to engage in movement; health history; goals; and previous exercise experience. I like to view the space where we would be practicing to get a feel for the environment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I'm currently advancing to the 500-hour level certification as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). I've had my 200-hour certification since February 2013. I'm quickly approaching 1,000 hours of teaching experience.
