Painting charges for labor only:
$1 sq ft for walls (1 coat) $1.50 sq ft for walls (2 coats)
$1 linear ft for trim (1 coat) $1.50 linear ft for trim (2 coats)
$200 per room for ceilings (2 coats) as long as it is not vaulted or a tray ceiling.
$45 per door (2 coats)
Floor installation charges for labor only:
$2.50 sq ft for vinyl plank flooring.
$3.00 sq ft for laminate installation.
$3.50 sq ft for hardwood installation.

He let me know when he was heading over so I knew when to expect him. One of the walls didn't look right to him after he painted it. (The flat paint underneath absorped unevenly on some areas of the walls.) So he rolled another coat in that area. He cared about how the finished job looked. I was having eggshell finish (of what was to be the same color) put over a flat finish paint.

David did a fantastic job on our project! He communicated well throughout and adapted flawlessly when our project threw a curve ball. I’ve remodeled and painted many homes myself but I couldn’t beat the quality of work, speed and experience that David provided . I received many bids for this project, not only was David the most reasonably priced but he also was the most punctual, and detailed, with giving his quote. I can’t recommend David enough, great work!

I usually charge by the sq ft. I try to be fair and affordable. Im negotiable.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to establish a good rapport. I want the customer to know exactly what they are getting for my services and to answer any questions that they may have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent most of my adult career in the airline industry, but after a near death experience about 8 years ago, I decided to go to work for myself. I learned how to paint at a young age and picked up a lot of my other skills over the years.
