Introduction: My favorite part of being a photographer is being able to capture a moment in time that will be looked at hundreds of years from now. I think that is a responsibility I take very seriously. I love capturing moments in time that show true emotion and the beauty of a person.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always been a huge photography lover and when I had my children I had the camera in their face 24-7. Slowly family and friends asked if I would take their pictures and I obliged. In the Spring of 2010 a friend was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and I wanted to help but had no clue what I could do...mini sessions for the community fell in my lap and after that it blossomed into where I am today. Giving back and fundraising has a special place in my heart and I still try to stay grounded by donating my services frequently throughout the year.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I am a newborn and child photographer who offers custom portrait services in Evansville and surrounding areas for a great value. Studio sessions are mainly for newborns and children but on-location sessions can be customized to your portrait needs. My most popular newborn package is my First Year Plus package that offers sessions every three months from newborn through their whole first year as well as a small print package with each session and 16x24 Canvas and 12x12 photo book at the end of the year~!

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I wish people understood that a cheap photographer is not always the photographer you want. It is very expensive to operate a studio with current in style props and equipment that is top of the line as well as normal business expenses. I love my "job" but I also need to make a living off the wages I bring in, so prices must be set at a certain level for that to happen. I can not work for free and appreciate when people value my work accordingly. With that being said I offer monthly discounts on certain products as well as mini sessions numerous times a year.
