Loved the personal yoga sessions with London. She is the best
I hired Mary to be a yoga instructor for my fitness retreat, and she was the perfect fit. She tailored the class for our needs (gentle yoga for sore muscles). I've done yoga for years with several different instructors, and I believe she is a wonderful teacher!
My experience in Samanthia’s classes was one of peaceful contentment. Samanthia allows her students to leave their stresses at the door through her calm and comforting words and affirmations. Her knowledge of yoga movements and poses was evident as she guided the class through each pose with different levels of difficulty thereby addressing every skill and ability level in the room. I am in my late 60’s and after attending Samanthia’s classes, my flexibility and overall well being was greatly improved. I would highly recommend Samanthia’s class to anyone who wants to improve their overall health.
Jessy was amazing! She helped my wife relax and stretch some tender muscles (back and calf)! She has that special ability to just let her personality take you on a ride because she truly loves what she does and leaves you feeling better afterward! I'd recommend her to anyone!
I've been taking yoga classes with Tara for nearly 10 years. She's an excellent teacher who encourages proper alignment in the postures. I especially like that she's able to tailor classes and offer alternative poses to all students abilities.
Lisa has been wonderful to work with. She has been so patient and helpful. I observed a class she taught and she was amazing. She has a remarkable ability to calm you just by talking to you. I was afraid to give meditation a try but after seeing her I plan to learn.
I have been doing yoga for 30 years. Katy is the best instructor I have had. Her lessons are designed just for me and she takes into account my limitations and goals. She is brilliant at chair Yoga, which now has to be part of my routine.
I would definitely recomend Kim as a yoga instructor. She is very passionate about helping people and her knowledge of yoga and human body helped me a lot with my sciatica problem. I knew I was in good hands when only after a few days of practicing yoga I was feeling huge relief. Kim did wonderful job explaining and guiding me through every pose, she really loves what she's doing. THE BEST YOGA INSTRUCTOR EVER!!!
I entered yoga with a bone spur in my right shoulder and minimal flexibility. After working with Trayci, the spur miraculously corrected itself (doctor was shocked). She is an excellent and patient instructor and always took the time to show me the different poses. Private sessions and classes are always fun, enjoyable, and beneficial
Corrin was amazing at explaining the different poses and made sure to keep us on track with the way that we were breathing to make things easier. Very easy to understand definitely not rushed (being a beginner) and you can tell she’s very knowledgeable and passionate about what she’s doing. Excellent!
You can tell Curvy Chick Yoga puts intention behind their curated flows. I love how I felt after class, pure bliss!
Caitlin is so welcoming and fun! She is very knowledgeable and kind. I loved it!
Allison is an amazing yoga teacher! I was very impressed by her authenticity and unique themes for class. She really puts a personal spin on each class and I always leave smiling and feeling refreshed. Whether you are just starting your yoga journey or a seasoned yogi, I would highly recommend Allison to guide you through your practice.
Hadley was my first yoga instructor, and though I do go to other classes, she's still the most caring, attentive and personable teacher. She's great at helping me go beyond what I'm currently able to do and provides excellent encouragement and support.
It had been a while since I had taken any yoga classes because of an injury. Riley was so great at giving me different variations and making me feel comfortable. I cannot thank her enough for making me feel like a yogi again!!
I understand the challenges people have in incorporating yoga into their lives. Fifteen years ago I would've said, "Yoga is boring and too slow". I know how to speak to those who feel that way. This is especially helpful in a corporate setting when a wellness program is encouraging healthy practices for their employees. I also am able to tailor a class to any level and speak to different personality styles. I love helping people understand their bodies better both physically and psychologically. It's incredibly rewarding to see people find a new awareness or find joy in the improvements yoga has brought them.
I tailor each experience to meet the individuals needs. Every lesson ends with a sound bath. I am living my passion. Teaching yoga allows me to help others choose joy and be love.
Enthusiasm of the teacher spills out to the student. Julie shares the joy and energy she gains from practice to her students. The type of yoga Julie teaches will enegize the student and change will occur with regular practice. What I enjoy most, is seeing the change that occurs when my students practice yoga. Their bodies become more aligned through awareness and their sense of connection to their bodies helps them shine.
I can design programs to suit any goal. I have been training clients for over ten years, and I have been teaching Yoga for 7. I hold a Masters in applied exercise physiology and a B.S. in Kinesiology. My style is essential centered around techniques utilizing the body/mind connection.
Services: - Private yoga instruction (beginners, gentle yoga, vinyasa yoga, and ashtanga yoga) - Group yoga instruction (vinyasa yoga, yoga sculpt, yoga music flow, hot yoga, and candlelight yoga)
I'd say I stand out from other yoga teachers because I am very welcoming! We laugh in class, we smile. I talk about the postures and what they are doing for you and your body. I focus on alignment, calm, concentration and strength. My class is a strong class. I do not teach hot yoga, I do not teach yoga with weights. Just good-old Yoga! The thing I love most about yoga teaching is literally the teaching part. I love when a student learns something new about their body or themselves during a class because I myself always love learning new things in my own practice with other teachers. To learn from a yoga lesson with a good teacher allows you to have a stronger practice on your own so that, not only can you rock out at home but, in other yoga classes, you'll know exactly what you're doing, sometimes even a little better than the instructor ;) Knowledge is Power!
