- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Email and phone conversation to discuss frequency, skill level, and goals. The first lesson will consist an evaluation of skills and comfort in the water.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
USA Swimming, CPR and Lifeguard certified
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a competitive swimmer for over 10 years, through high school and college. I ran the local swim club learn to swim program for five years, overseeing scheduling and instructor training, as well as coaching the beginner level. I became a YMCA head swim coach for five years, head girls high school coach for four years and a lead age group coach for a USA Swimming club for two years. During my time coaching, I also taught private and group lessons for children as well as adults.
