Phyllis and Don were wonderful to work with. They were there for us when ever we had a question and quick to respond. The wedding ceremony was beautifully officiated. I would highly recommend using them!Jun 8, 2017Verified
Phyllis officiated our wedding, I was a nervous wreck but she was very accommodating to what we wanted, so after the ceremony was over it turned out to be a great wedding! Thank you!Jun 6, 2016Verified
Phyllis did a excellent job as our wedding officiant. She was organized and helpful prior to the ceremony and did a wonderful job at the actual event. My new wife and I would highly recommend her to anyone.Feb 6, 2016Verified
Not switch officiants on us last minute when we are expecting her then i get a call from a gentleman saying she had another that needed her music! Either book then or us but not both and then send us someone different that was asking us for more money! Plus he did not know what we wanted, announced my husband's first name that he does not go by, and left immediately after the ceremony! All together i just think it was bad business and when i called her the next morning she was rude like i was bothering her!Jun 15, 2017VerifiedYour Wedding Officiants-IN's reply
I didn't know that Dana was calling me specifically. She called our company. She didn't specify that she wanted a female (in fact most want a male). Actually, they didn't pay the correct amount. Our officiant was correct but he didn't push it. Initially, she wanted a typical ceremony (not customized). Then she came back with an addition, so we had to re-print our copy and the one we also give the client. I definitely was NOT rude. Perhaps I didn't apologize - as I was befundled by her dissatisfaction. This is the first time ANY client said they weren't happy! The officiant used the Groom's full legal name once (that corresponded to his legal name on the license.) The male officiant had all the info that I had. After the ceremony, instead of signing the license and certificate they wanted the officiant to stay until photos were finished before signing. He waited awhile, then he signed and filled out both the license and certificate. Since they weren't interested in signing, he left it with the parent and show them the x blanks where they needed to sign. He should not have been expected to hang around for an hour to watch them sign - after they refused to pay the proper fee.
very professional, yet very comfortable and funny. Loved having her as our officientFeb 14, 2017Verified

Medium and Large Weddings that have large wedding parties and rehearsals and more consultations can range from $150 - $400. We customize to please our clients and give a personal service.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First, making sure they are aware of the details and requirements of obtaining their Marriage License from the County Courthouse. We like to chat and get feel for their personalities and get a feel for the tone of the ceremony as they see it. We usually start giving them a copy of a typical ceremony along with some options that can be incorporated in the ceremony and let them know that they can make changes, write their own vows. If they want help with the changes, we are available for that, too. We do all that within the type of ceremony they have chosen: Religious, Non-denominational, Non-Religious, Same-Sex, Military, Spiritual, etc. We will also include other smaller ceremonies within that: Unity Candle, Sand Ceremony, Wooden Box, HandFasting, etc. So it is "all about the Couple" Or they can use the standard traditional religious ceremony, civil ceremony, non-religious ceremony, etc. But we have found that when a couple is invested in the construction of the ceremony, they are more comfortable, not as nervous, and it is more meaningful.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Phyllis played her first wedding at age 8. She went on to study music for 8-years of college, and became of Minister of Music/Pipe Organist/Pianist at several large Indiana church. Of course, part of the job was weddings and their rehearsals - my life long professional. The daughter of a seminarian minister, and the outgrowth from that lead me to the joining of her daughter and husband to add the Officiate Service.
