- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am working to earn my certificate from the APDT. I try to study and learn from recognized trainers and attend seminars to further my experience and understanding.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved dogs, and began training and showing our German Shepherds back in the 60's. When I'm working with dogs I'm in the zone. I deeply love what I do. Who could ask for more?
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Because I'm involved with animal rescue work I do a lot of temperament assessments which helps to get a dog into the most suitable type of home for that particular dog. Sometimes my work also entails un-training bad habits.
